On the season? Just one game? Do they get Tom Brady as their supporting QB? Lot of factors come into play, IMO.

EastsideEZ
If we’re talking fully healthy my Ravens have to be in the top 5...

Vikes #1 with a gun to my head. Two elite DBs in Rhodes and Smith. Solid support DBs in Waynes, Sendejo, Alexander and Newman. Front seven is what really makes the defense. Great pass rush, strong against the run and fantastic coverage LBs. The Vikes really don't have a weak link, though, they've been gashed by mobile QBs. Jags have a bottom tier run defense (per avg,) while the Vikes have a top 5ish. Vikes are #1 in points allowed and have the top third down defense. Texans in the discussion as well. A fully healthy Watt with the current iteration of Clowney would be a scary combo, then you throw in Mercilius, McKinney and Cunningham and you have a potentially dominant front seven. bucsfan333
We'd be top five if we added a pass rush, some quality CBs, and got a new defensive coordinator.

In our defense(pun intended) our run defense has improved since trading for Dareus(albeit still worse than yours), we have 7 more INTs, 6 more FRs 16 more sacks too while giving up 7 points more

Next closest is the Broncos at 29. The Vikes have given up the fewest points in the league, have a comparable pass defense, and a far better run defense than Jax, it's hard for me to take Jax over MN. It's close though. The Jags certainly have the edge in takeaways and sacks but MN gets off the field better than anyone on third down.
