The offense did nothing in the 4th quarter, I can’t see them doing something in overtime. As for this weekend, both teams have garbage offenses and decent defenses. It’s going to be a snooze fest and probably look a lot like their game with the Jets. Fortunately for the Raiders BP’s boy is pretty bad at the QB spot. If they didn't call the Cooper TD back we probably would've lost that game. We could easily be 0-4 or 3-1 this year but that's just the nature of the NFL. However, how many times have we seen a coach capitalize against a sleepwalking opponent late in the season who was already set for the playoffs and just trying to avoid an untimely injury? Hence me specifying now I wanna see AP do it when the stakes are high and he's not an unknown. Was it a 1-off or can he go toe to toe with an Andy Reid? I think when you're evaluating HCs, it's totally fair to ask "Does this guy represent 'Any given Sunday, we might win' or 'Any given Sunday, we might lose'?" Like I said, I wanna see him against good coaches, even in losses, making good coaching decisions. Then, a better roster should bring more wins. But a 1-off win here and there and otherwise feasting on bad teams (Giants last year) or being less of a doofus than the guy across from him (Staley) isn't enough to give me that vibe. Mediocre coaches can win a random game here and there. Hell, Josh McDaniels is undefeated as a HC Bill Belichick but got routinely outcoached bynother good or even mediocre ones. I understand the premise and I don’t disagree if it works both ways, but do we then resolve him of blame when guys like Minshew simply don’t play well, after all Pierce clearly wanted Jayden Daniels and Telesco got him Minshew? Do we just say ‘any given Sunday’ for the Chargers game or the Panthers game. I just don’t see a consistency of logic here is all. I agree with the premise we want to see how he does with the chips on the line against top class opposition, but also we have to appreciate that we should be beating up on bad teams and badly coached teams so he’s done what he should be doing in large part. To me, fundamentally a team that is well coached is greater than the sum of their parts and plays better than their roster would have you predict. I want to see that moving forward and, if we do that and still lose to a team that is just plain better I can accept that.

It should have been called back, blantant hold vs Wilkins But true, that’s the NFL KC could legitimately be 1-3 if not for some flags going their way

We actually had a good chance to beat the Chargers too with the ball down 6 late in the 4th quarter. Most games in the NFL are decided by a handful of plays, the good teams are the ones that find a way to make those plays.

If a team is willing to pay then he'd be hoping to stay healthy 2 hours ago, RaidersAreOne said: Include Mayer in the trade package to the Jets as well (If he's disgruntled being #2). He's be an upgrade over Conklin I'm sure. Give us 1sts in 26 and 27 for both. Let them win a SB and keep 2025 1st. Then they fall apart and we get top 10 picks. 😃 Edited October 3 by G

Sometimes just recovering your own fumbles w/ isn’t a skill just luck. Lot of times bad teams can get to the playoffs (Giants 2022) by one score games We also had a playoff year recently where we won most of our 1 score games Edited October 3 by bucksavage1

Our secondary screwed up big time and this would have been a touchdown whether there was any holding or not. Refs called it though and save us. Our DC is extremely aggressive and takes calculated risk throughout the game to make up for our lack of talent on defense. And our epps is out for the year and he did hold him but it didn't matter because the blitz forced a hold. If he didn't hold him that would have been a sack regardless of the coverage.
