hornbybrown
If this season continues how it’s started do you think Haslim would/ should blow it up having just extended AB and KS? We are on pace for four wins which would be a disaster of season. Do we blow it up or stay the course. Or do we fire one of AB and KS but not both? Personally I have more doubts about KS than AB. AB isn’t responsible for missed tackles, ridiculous amount of penalties, missed assignments in blocking etc. I see a team that is worse than the sum of its parts which is a reflection on coaching
roger murdock
AB has acquired very little talent for being GM for 5 seasons.

Sure but he’s been GM for 5 off seasons and our teams way worse than the tlast am he inherited After 5 off seasons we have a worse Qb, worse WRs, worse RBs, worse OL, and roughly equal defense.

This is a goofy take. We had OBJ as our #1 WR. He stunk. It's AB's fault Chubb got hurt? We had Greg Robinson as a LT five years ago. Baker was getting killed. Wayyy less talent on defense back then. I get you hate this regime and want us to fail, but this is a straight up goofy take. To put it nicely.
Bucketheadsdad
I think that we've developed such a co-dependency with this organization. We've had some success over the last few years, and it has been awesome, but most of us have no idea in knowing how to be happy about this team. We seem to be happier when we have something (everything) to complain about. I honestly don't know if it is time to blow it up, but I'm fairly confident that many of us will secretly be happier when we've torn it down to the studs (pun definitely intended) yet again for the hope reaching the pinnacle in another 5-7 years. I'm resigning myself that at my age (61), I'm never going to see a Super Bowl parade in Cleveland (or near the airport). I'll just enjoy the ride that we're on, with no expectations. I enjoy doing mock dafts hoping to "solve" the team's problems, but it is little more than me wasting time when I should be cleaning my basement. 🤷♂️

Bucketheadsdad
Doesn't Watson have a full "no-trade" clause in his contract? If not..... We might need to be Denver in the next Osweiler deal.
sdrawkcab321
I’m sick of Berry. He’s done nothing. He should only handle contracts. That’s his strength. He’s added so little to this team. And his obsession over keeping and bringing back his crappy draft picks is keeping us from adding real talent. Letting Flacco walk for no reason last year was inexcusable. He wiffed on wills and Newsome. His contracts with teller and Conklin are horrible. I don’t blame him for Watson however that has jimmy grubby finger prints all over it. His only good additions were JOK and Delpit. then you have Stefanski. One of the softest least motivating coaches I’ve ever seen. I’ve never once heard an ex player talk about how great of a coach he was. Or how he inspired them to play better. He’s soft. He doesn’t hold anyone accountable. He’s had 2 DCs (woods and Schwartz) who do stupid things for long stretches and he’s too much of a pansy to direct them to change what they’re doing. His play calling outside of the opening script is inconsistent. Hes calling 2 yard passes when they need 10. Hes not doing anything to improve the blocking. bring in belichick. Let him fix some of this stupid crap. Give him 5-6 years to turn this soft crap around at least look like we’re prepared to play.
DawgX
No. Get rid of Watson if you can, but that's it.

To put it nicely. Goofy take my *** He invested 3 first and 3 mid round picks and a ton of cap space to massively downgrade the QB position he inherited He did nothing to address the RB position. He inherited a superstar and A+ backup. We don’t have an option as good as either one anymore. In 5 years there’s been no starting caliber talent or youth put in. Cooper is his only win on offense. It’s the most plentiful position of talent in the NFL and we have a bunch of scrubs and the only good player at the position doesn’t want to be here because he tried to trade him. This position group is basically break even in talent to the Landry / OBJ room. Our only good tight end he inherited. The only good offensive linemen on the team were here before he came. Wills sucks and was a burnt 10th pick. Our offensive line has not developed any talent in the 5 years he’s been here. You are acting like he’s not to blame for his players getting old. All the offensive talent on this team was here when he started!!! They are all old here with no depth or developing players to replace them. (or they left and are thriving on other teams!) It’s his job to bring in players who can do stuff and he hasn’t. Besides a few DBs and JOK he’s basically wasted 5 years. If Berry went to Kent State instead of Harvard we’d all view him as incompetent. Ignore the degree. His track record is awful. I’ve worked with Ivey league educated losers. They aren’t perfect.

I still firmly believe the Watson trade was a Haslam move. What should he have done with the RB position? What would you have done? Doesn't help that the OL is trash, mainly due to injuries/ He extended that tight end when most of us were against doing so. Then he goes and has his best season. Wills does suck. But to say our OL hasn't developed under him is such a stupid thing to say. Teller went from a backup JAG to a pro bowler. Pocic went from a backup to a competent starter. He signed Conklin. I'm not saying AB has been perfect, because I don't believe that that at all. But to act like he's been horrible is silly.

candyman93
Could you imagine the carnage that would happen if we hired Hoodie? We’d be hearing “behind the scenes” talk from players dads damn near every day.

Hoodie would probably have to go scorched earth to get rid of the marshmallows on this team. There’s absolutely no way in hell 80-90% of the dudes on this team would survive playing for him.
