Nabbs4u
Won't lie, rarely come into the baseball forum. It will be a absolute joke when MLB finally allows Pete Rose to join the HOF next round of inductions!!! They have unjustly and intentionally kept him out for decades waiting and hoping for him to pass away. Which in itself is absolute BS!!! Zero doubt in my mind, Pete Rose is inducted in the MLB HOF in 2025/26. Whenever the next class is up for vote. 🖕MLB/ the POS Voters🖕 RIP to one of the GOATS!!! In heart, he knew his name will be in HOF. That's all that matters.

Should of been in a long time ago. They proved there point the first 20years keeping arguably a Top 5 player in MLB history out of the HOF! To intentionally and knowingly wait for him to pass to "then" put him in afterwards, us a Joke! They as a whole should be ashamed of themselves TBH! That was his problem. I am good with a posthumous HOF selection for him.
THE DUKE
They should have put him in the hall long ago for his playing achievements and upheld his lifetime ban with anything else MLB related. There are plenty of scumbags as bad or worse than Rose in the hall.

Okay now that I'm done being a jerk, he should go in the Hall now.
biggio7
With the millions MLB makes off of gambling sites, I feel like it's a joke. I've said put him in as a player and leave his coaching out of it. I mean, they already have PED players in there but somehow gambling is worse?
40Year Pack Fan
I'm probably one of the few here that actually remembers Pete Rose playing baseball....He was a hero to mine and to many of my friends, but also remember those who hated his cockiness and arrogance....These are traits that helped sink his small chances of getting into the HOF....The league has made great efforts to assure fairness in the game....Teams are allowed to have plays reviewed and reversed, pitches that are thrown into the ground are readily discarded and pitchers are searched for substances on their gloves and hats....The league has implemented these with intentions of showing open fairness in games and pardoning Rose could be seen as counterproductive to this idea....I thought the same thing for quite some time, but now can only say it could potentially undermine the league intentions and send the wrong message....Should players/coaches be allowed to bet on games when they could potentially influence their outcomes?....Should we then let those who used steroids into the hall as well?.....
