cowboysdreamer Posted December 29, 2017 Share Posted December 29, 2017 I'm with you on this matter there are tight ends on this team that deserve to catch the rock and not just be used as blockers, both Hanna and Swaim are more agile and can get down field quicker and even Blake Jarwin will be another option @ the tight end position. Witten has committed a lot of untimely penalties this year that caused the team to lose momentum in games. He's part of the reason why the Cowboys went to this dink and dunk offense by keeping him in the box to either help block for Elliott or a second thought to give Prescott another option. All our tight ends have shown good ability to block so the Cowboy's shouldn't use that as an excuse when they don't distribute the rock around on this offense.
