Just in case if Woody is lurking on this site. lol.

Todd Monken, Mike Vrabal and Bobby Slowik should be first looks for Woody and JD.

Please Please Please Please Don't fall in love with one after Zoom meeting.  Thank You.

I really dont' want Vrabel because he had problem with power structure.   Ran Carthon came into Titans world from 49ers where system has been excellent in schooling/developing prospects(all kinds).  Vrabel had problem with him and Titans went down hard.

Vrabel and Flores had similar result and both came from BB tree.  Dunno if they learn something new since then.  I honestly don't see either would accept Jets job if offered as long as Woody is in charge.

Now, I am afraid of Jeff Ulbrich not coming back as DC next year.  New HC new coaching staff.

Vrabel never coached under Belichick.

As exciting as those young offensive coordinators are I just don't think that's what this team needs. It needs some discipline. As for Vrabel having issues with structure you have to expect any job he takes he understands the way things work. For the Jets, since both HC and GM report to the owner, it won't be an issue.

Yeah. Having your QB older than your HC is just weird man.

Romeo Crennel and BB are on the same tree.

Matt LaFluer coached under Vrabel. He's never labeled as under the Vrabel tree, always the Shanahan tree.

Not wanting Vrabel is fine. The whole Belichick thing is nonsense.

I didn't dismiss him because of BB tree.    I merely mentioned BB tree because he had involved in BB tree for larger period of his professional football life. Vrabel has been involved with Shanny variant system for last 3 or 4 years.  BB tree reeks of hard head and struggling.  If you think he will have his best coaching career once he gets 2nd chance then you may be right or not.  BB tree label stays with him.

Ah... on defensive side,  all DC belonged to BB tree (Bowen was freshly born under BOB). lol

Anyway.   Is that correct, when Vrabel was hired as HC he was bad DC for Texans.  It was amazing how he started off well for Titans.

I have been trying to find some information off the internet to identify which lesser coaches have football brain.  Oh boy, it is hard.   Always basing on recent hot track.

Vrabel and BB are probably only coaches in range from HC to assistant coach have proven track.

Matt Nagy was probably one of smartest coaches but he could not hack as HC.    Kellen Moore was said to be a smart coach but his OC ability leaves something to be desired.
