Watson Contract

I apologize; I'm sure this is in one of the threads. I'm interested in finding information on how quickly and least painfully we can get out from under Watson's contract. It's very clear that things did not work out. I'm hopefully we can eat the "poison pill" and move on as soon as we can. I know it means this year and at least one more are destroyed. Any information or insight would be appreciated.

2026! Let's go Browns. I'm keeping the faith as a true believer, but feel like we need to move forward and accept sucking for a couple of years AGAIN

There is a Browns fan on Twitter called Jack Duffin. He is a salary cap wizard and has a breakdown of it. It’s not as bad as most believe, especially if we are replacing him with a rookie contract

I mean, it’s every bad as we believe, just not something that can’t be worked around.

Bench him and use him as a scout team QB. Make him earn it. He might start trying for another team if he has financial incentive.  Let him sit the remaining 45 game checks

Dont let him try to rehab while making $75m against our cap. If hes willing to take a huge buyout, do it. Otherwise, scout team.

(Holy **** I cannot believe hes under contract for 45 more games... 11 games +17 games+17 games)
