Coming off our bye, there's some optimism that this may be our final game before Tua Tagovailoa's return. While a win to get back to .500 would be ideal, our offensive ineptitude makes such an outcome unlikely. The Colts should be returning to Anthony Richardson for this game over Joe Flacco, which may be good for us, as he's definitely the more mistake-prone QB of the two... but probably not enough for us to have a prayer of winning.

My prediction...

Miami 13
Indianapolis 24

But I'm all seriousness that was a masterclasses of what NOT to do on a final drive down six with no timeouts especially from 2nd down on.

-Scramble for a minimal gain. (Time runs and WRs need to run back to LOS). Throw away would have been more helpful or take a shot.

-throw a checkdown to a RB before he even breaks towards the sideline basically ensuring he gets tackled in bounds for basically no gain. Clock runs. WRs sprint back to LOS killing more time. Achane should have knocked the ball down. Throw it away before making that pass.

4th and 2. A throw away?!?!? To me that looked like a throw away. There's no way that was intended to be a completion. Almost went into the stands. That's a mistake you excuse for a middle school QB. Not JV, varsity, college, UFL, YMCA flag, let alone NFL! Just inexcusable!

I think Grier and McDaniel need to acknowledge that they have greatly botched the backup QB situation and go get someone at the deadline. You can't have Thompson or Boyle go back out there if Tua gets hurt again, especially if Snoop is hurt.
