Also sounds like Denver is the heavy favorite to land him.

This is the time of year you have no clue what is true and what is false. Why would a media member know what Beane is going to do? He is guessing at this point because no way Beane will show his hand whether he wants him or not.

If you seriously want him, you have to show your hand ASAP and there is likely no way to hide it from the press. His agent will let everybody know who is actually pursuing him to drive up the price!!!

Not worth the money. If he was an elite QB why didn't he do better in Washington? We can spend that money on FDA that will improve our team in many other ways.

Do much better? In the 3 years he was qb he has posted 2015: 4,166 yards, 29 td and 11 Ints with a 69.8% completion. 2016: 4,917 yards, 25 tds and 12 Ints with a 67% completion. 2017: 4,093 yards, 27 td and 13 ints with 64.3% completion. I am sorry but you cant get better then that as a qb. Maybe it had something to do with the lack of defense ranking at the bottom 5 the last 3 years. Maybe it was the lack of talent this past year that kirk had 3 of the 5 starting olineman out for more then half the season, they let Djax and Garcon walk in free agency to bring in Pryor who is garbage and then drafting doctson, losing his scatback with Chris Thompson in week 9 and TE reed who was out most of the season. People want to blame him for not carrying them to the playoffs but lets be honest there is more to it then just him. Spending the money on him may be alot but when was the last time the bills actually had a franchise qb? Jim Kelly. Spending the money on Kirk will prevent having to spend multiple picks to move up in order to get a qb to develop with holes that needed to be filled through the draft so it can work vis versa. You land cousins you get 4-5 studs in the draft with the picks they have not including next years picks to which it would involve in order to move up and get a qb. Bills have a solid oline core in Glenn at LT, Incognito at LG, Groy at Center (who did a solid job in 2016 for the 7 games he filled in for wood), and Dion Dawkins at RT. Bills will need a Rg in draft and can either get a speedster wr on the cheap in free agency such as Albert Wilson or go in the draft. They have Benjamin in the X position and Zay goes back to his original position the slot. Plus the speedy rb who has carried the bills the last 3 years in Shady, another backup RB in late rd of draft or on the cheap like cadet. The bills offense has stacked up way better then Washington and the bills D has been solid in the backfield and can use the draft to upgrade on DT and LB with 2 of the top 5 picks in the draft. So yes i think paying cousins and drafting to build around him would work better then paying other positions and moving all their draft pieces to get a qb in the early first rd in hopes he is not a bust a year or 2 from now. Meanwhile guys like Incognito and shady will just waste away on the roster and restart all over again in a couple years at those positions while the bills rebuild with a rookie qb. Also Drew Brees stats were worse then Kirk's and didnt make much of a splash in San Diego so they didnt want to pay him and look what happened he bloomed in New Orleans. Especially this year when had a capable defense and a solid running game which reminds me of exactly what the bills have right now just need kirk to push them over the edge to be a contender. Keep in mind paying Kirk now may be the highest in the league but come next year he will be dropping to top 5 and then another year from that probably to top 10 as more qbs will be getting paid and the cap will increase as usual so its all relative at this point.

How do they know that Denver is the heavy favorites... Your not allowed to even talk to free agents yet. You wouldn't know a favorite much before that point. I'm sure Denver wants him but there are a ton of teams that will want him.

As for Bills the new rumor seems to be that Beane is gonna try to trade for Andrew Luck

I’d legit **** myself if we got Luck.

Cousins basically insinuated he will take less money if Denver pursues him. That's why Denver is being linked to Cousins the most

Cousins also said that his #1 bullet would be the Vikings.

He also said that he would love to play for Jets with their new OC...

There is no favorite. Can't possibly know at this point.

Cousins is saying all the right things he will research all the teams and will take all considerations of proposals from the teams offering him a contract. If he cares about money then Browns and Jets can float him the most money. If he is looking to be competitive then he will look at the Broncos, Vikings, Bills and Jags. I do not see the jags making a push as they are close to cap and signing cousins will hurt their defense long term as guys like Jack, ramsey and others will be looking at getting new contracts with in the next 2 years and they already have a ton of future cap spent with the guys in the front line. Broncos and Vikings will need to let some guys go as they will be strapped for cap and have to fill in holes now and in the future. Bills are limited with 40 mil this year before making further cuts other then tyrod however the bills have massive cap space in 2019 and then 2020 so they can work out a contract making it back loaded with the capability of building the team with the right players around him as they already have key pieces in play. It will be an interesting 6 weeks though

Good. We're just recovering from a massive cap space mess, the last thing we need to do is to get right back in it by signing Cousins

Ugh, sounds like Minnesota is about to offer

3 yrs / 91 millions with all 91 million guaranteed

This sucks for us trying to trade up.

Giants, Browns, Broncos, Jets, Cards and Dolphins all need QB's.

Actually it helps the Bills. It means the Vikings QB position is definitive so all 3 current QBs find homes. Without Cousins it was likely they would keep 2 of the 3. The net result is more QBs will go to teams above us
