Slingin' Sammy
This season has displayed an overall regression of passing stats in general, but some of the QB stats coming out of today’s games are appalling. I’m seeing several instances of sub 50% completions, less than 150 yards passing, more interceptions than touchdowns, etc. The troubling aspect is that it isn’t just the young players and backups laying eggs. Mahomes and Purdy combined for 5 INT’s today with 0 TD’s. CJ Stroud had 81 yards passing for an entire GAME. There really might be some steam to the trend of defenses and running games starting to control the league again. nagahide13
I'd be interested to see the league wide stats. It just seems like most of the QBs that are playing well and leading the league right now aren't the ones we would have expected prior to the season. Jayden, Baker, Darnold, Goff etc.
riceman80
College doesn't put out pro style QBs like they used to. We used to laugh at guys like Colt McCoy and Colt Brennan as prospects limited by their system and now guys like them go in the 1st round all the time. That system is the default now and it doesn't really fly in the NFL. Thus QBs are suffering from incompatability and massive learning curves.

CP3MVP
2021 Mac Jones would be a top 10 QB today
Blackstar12
You know it's bad this year when lately most of my bets are with RBs. I don't trust a lot of these QB lol.
Malik
Geno Smith is leading the league in yards. Baker Mayfield is leading the league in touchdowns.
Trentwannabe
Having a QB who’s thrown interceptions this season must suck. Couldn’t be me.

Tbf Geno and Baker have been good for years now at this point. A lot of these guys have been, people just hold on to preconceptions about what players were, in Geno's case, literally a decade ago.

I think Geno has been about what i expected, but Baker has been quite a bit better. 2 years ago I thought he was a high level backup. 2 months ago I thought he was probably somewhere around #12. Right now he's playing like a top 5 guy.
Tank4Drake
Ehhh many QB’s are playing great. I feel we are hyper-focusing on Mahomes being a fringe Top 20 QB at the moment and QB26 in fantasy. Burrow, Lamar, Daniels, Allen, and Jordan Love are all playing absolutely elite-caliber football currently. And you have Maye flashing in his first two games with the worst cast ever. Then u have guys like Trevor who are at times inconsistent. His last 12 quarters numbers are very much acceptable.
Vladimir L
If I ran a team I would build around a running game and get a qb on a rookie contract a star rb cost 10-15 mil and star wr 30-35 mil
