mayanfootball
DeAndre Hopkins is a "lock" for CATCHING the ball. A stat I saw last night referenced Hop as the 4th best in the NFL with (a "drop rate"less than 1%). After our schmucks last year, this is a breath of fresh airl

Seems like a talented guy but despite our rough WR core he is just an afterthought. He does have that weird neck issue and I'm sure that plays a part. Otherwise there’s no excuse for Skyy to have gotten any snaps this season.

He's not crazy fast, or even a Davante Adams type who is so clean at the line of scrimmage that he wins there. He's much more of a great catcher, insane at the point of catch, crazy body control and ball skills, kind of guy. We've never had that, at all. Pat has been in the throw to the wide open guy kind of mode for a good while now. Save for occasionally Kelce I guess. So curious to see how the two mesh as far as that goes. Like, Hopkins will reward Pat for throwing to him when he's pretty well-covered, so maybe that prompts a change, we just don't do a lot of that historically. Where are we the worst this year, besides really offensively as a whole? Redzone, Nuk is a direct answer to our current weakness in the 1-9 yard pass plays, and our red zone ineptitude. Combine that with the fact that he’s another guy that knows how to sit in a zone hole… stylistically I think he’s a piece we’ve always thought it would be great to have. Combine that with like a career drop rate among the lowest of all time… he’s gonna be great.

All kinds of grumblings on X, that the next trade may not be for WR. All speculation I'm sure but something worth keeping an eye out on

Idk about that one, I think we roll with the corners we got, we’re pretty confident in them. But anymore injuries and who knows

He has the best tools but it doesn't make a player. The other names are all ST types. Chris Roland-Wallace is not a name of repute but he had one of the interceptions Sunday. Last season we had depth but losing L'Jarius and Watson has cut the heart out. McDuffie is out standing alone on the field.

I think it was a pitched battle all camp and Watson barely edged out the other guys. Johnson I think is the next man up and he as fighting for starter snaps all camp. We reload at corner pretty well historically. Spagz has his DBs ready to roll. Still got plenty of time to make a move for now
