INbengalfan
Welp. 11 weeks to prove whether or not he really belongs. Or two weeks to avoid being traded. edit: That Dalton piece was posted as I was typing. Still believe it's Russ-level do or die for him. What does Tampa or Johnson have to do with the topic at hand?

PossibleCabbage
I mean, it doesn't benefit the Panthers (at this point in the season at least) to win games this year, so this move makes sense. Getting information on "is Bryce Young salvageable" is more useful to them than Dalton winning 2-3 more games.
Xmad
Bryce young is their guy. You don't give up on your QB after two years. Even Russell Walrus got 3. Let this man prove he's your guy.

Young will definitely get another hard look though this season. That was always going to happen.
TheKillerNacho
lol I guess there really isn't much point to start Andy Dalton anymore, even if you think he's better right now.

Zach Wilson is literally just garbage coaching with a raw prospect and being forced to start way too soon. He might never have had it but he wasn't gonna get it with the **** coaching he had. Bryce Young is very much ****ed over by coaching and a terrible offensive cast around him with no talent on the other side of the ball to offset anything else. Feel like it's a repeat of Tua tbh, talented QB goes to a **** situation and has flashes but the coaches overall let him down cause you're not doing the guy you were brought in to help by benching him for andy ****ing dalton.
