There is only one thing the Jets can do to save the franchise, BESIDE OF GETTING RID OF RODGERS.

Being we got a Thursday, night game, the only thing that would shake up Woody, is to have a massive no show for the Jets, Houston, game. Not too many years ago it was not too uncommon to see 20000 no shows at an NFL game, when a team was doing really bad. The problem today is the price of tickets, are way too high to just give up for many people.

Because it was a GM. We're talking owner now, we need to go all out. Even create a trending hashtag for the fans who are no longer showing up to other games or plan to root for other teams. Let the media go directly at Woody.

I legit had a bunch of Jets stuff in my cart from 47brand.com and now I think I'm just going to empty is look for Tottenham gear instead.

Somebody has to answer for that fiasco of a game, it has to be woody Johnson, BUT WE ALL KNOW HE IS NOT MAN ENOUGH TO COME OUT AND TALK TO THE JET FANS. and what about our GM Joe Douglas, where is he hiding. THE ENTIRE JET COACHING STAFF IS A FAILURE.

Don't worry. Joe Douglas is 100% gone after this season.

We will have a new GM/HC. But the issue is, we will still have Woody Johnson screwing it up..... So I have zero faith that the next people will finally turn it around. I fear we are in a rinse and repeat cycle.

Woody is going nowhere.  As long as he is making money, why sell?  There is no comparison to Washington because Snyder had a toxic work environment and was an unethical POS.  The league could not allow his ownership to continue giving the NFL a black eye.  Woody is doing none of that.  And, no, this is not a defense of Woody as I'd like to see him gone but there is nothing for the NFL to justify a forced sale.

The only way Woody would sell is if the team starts losing $ over a couple of years.  And the only way that will happen is if fans stop going to games, sell their PSA's, and stop buying merch.  I do not see that happening.  Now if we can somehow get pics of him doing unnatural things with farm animals, then maybe.

Agreed Woody is going nowhere, NOWHERE!!!! The real question should be if JD is a lame duck as everyone suggests and has lost all power or influence on this team. Is he still given the reigns to make trades or any other decisions concerning the team?

Some love him, most are critical of some of the moves, others think he's been pretty good, but has made some bad choices (or has he?) perhaps some of those decisions were Woody's. But truth be told we are not privy to those inner workings of the organization.

But be sure of this Jets fans, J.D. will not be unemployed long, just as Saleh was not unemployed long. J.D. has put a competitive team of players on the field. But until we can field a host  capable Coaches we will continue down this unending slide of malaise until we do so.

This is the answer. NFL owners generate massive income from their teams. Beyond even the yearly income, franchise valuations have skyrocketed over the years. Unless an owner is looking to divest because they are ready to move on AND have no one waiting in the wings to inherit the team, they aren't going to sell.

These guys are all worth so much money and make so much, that, even selling the team for 6-10 Billion dollars wouldn't really change their financial living situations. The longer they stay in, the more they gain. It takes an owner dying or being horribly corrupt to sell.
