Leader
Will Jordan play? Can Green Bay hold off Detroit without him? Time will tell Edited October 28 by Leader
Refugee
A lot hanging on Love’s groin here. Unless he’s feeling all the way ready, go all out with Malik and let the chips fall where they may. Nobody’s underdog and all that but conceding a division game when things might come down to the wire would be tough.

Old Guy
Jordan Love is not playing. Hopefully, we will get him back for the Bears game after the bye. MLF is going to have to draw up another one of those Malik Willis specials for a game plan.

I would assume he is above average in that department as well..........but I get the feeling that is irrelevant to whether he plays or not. I could easily see us going Malik Willis regardless of how big Jordan Love's dong is. Edited October 28 by HeresAGuy
incognito_man
Tough game regardless of who plays at QB1. Detroit is a better team right now. We'll need things to go out way to come out with a W. I think it's more like we lose than win.
Leader
I didnt see the JAX/GB game live....but was very alarmed seeing how badly Love was moving around when seeing highlights on NFL RedZone. Clearly his knee injury isnt as far in the rear view mirror than we all thought and frankly, I was surprised they were allowing him to play. Tampa just tried to get away with things when they played a *clearly hobbling* Evans and it came back to bite them in the ***. Now - with this new issue with his groin, IMO it would be stupid to play Love next week. We could be risking losing him for a longer period. Seems pretty hard to see a risk/reward scenario where we risk the war to win what will be a very difficult battle. Clifford only has one more call up until we have to roster him afaik. It will be interesting to see how the team handles that one, but it’s QB. Can’t really afford to mess around there and if you have to carry 3, so be it. {Family Ghost}
It's going to be Willis against Detroit, and hopefully LaFleur can come up with a scheme that can keep the Lions off balance. I wouldn't bring Love back until he's at least close to 100 percent. Can't have him getting dinged up all season long. On defense we have to come up with something workable at safety/nickel/boundry. Things went to hell in a hand basket when the Williams injury forced a shuffling on D. Prior to that injury the Packers had found a great groove. incognito_man
For now, like it has always been, if Love is healthy enough to be cleared by the medical staff he will play the entire game. If he is not, he wont play. That's all it ever has been and ever will be. Edited October 28 by incognito_man
deltarich87
Didn't think I'd say this but the potential loss of Evan Williams probably hurts them more this week than the loss of Love. We at least have seen them have success with Willis as QB1, whereas Stokes has been consistently very, very bad all season long. Bullard did not play well today either. They really got worse at multiple spots in the secondary once he went down
HeresAGuy
Bullard I am disappointed in the apparent drop off, but hes a rookie and he has shown the goodness often enough. He gets a pass. Stokesie though........that dude gone after this szn. Into the Randall Rollins, Demarious Randall, Kevin King scrap pile with him.
KFP7
seems like an L right now, Detroit is on fire, but....being 0-2 in the division with both games at Green Bay would be brutal.
