RaidersAreOne
We've already canned our OC and O Line coach. I think AP is one and done as HC, along with his cast of old washed up "mentors" in Lewis, Coughlin, etc. I can see Graham leaving too, so we'll potentially have an entirely new staff in a matter of months. How many times do we have to do this pathetic song and dance. Since 1998: Gruden Callahan Turner Shell Kiffiin Cable Hue Allen Sporano Del Rio Gruden Bisaccia McDaniels Pierce Are you freaking kidding me? We're essentially starting over from scratch less than every two seasons. What a joke. Yet here we are again boys! Who do you hope to see as our next HC? What assistants would be ideal? RaidersAreOne
@big_palooka If only we could die on the Harbaugh/Dodds hill again this cycle. What a miss by Davis.

NJ Raider
My bad. My only issue with Vrabel is hiring and keeping the right OC who can mentor a young QB. I did take a look at the browns staff since Vrabel is working there now, and our old pal Billy Musgrave is on staff there. I do worry about him calling plays in the modern game though. Couldn't hurt to have him as QB coach at the very least.
Humble_Beast
Get a coach who can call plays and develop a QB: - Ben Johnson - prolly be the most sought guy - Texans OC- I still like him even if CJ having a down year - Kingsbury - depends how Washington finishes - Kellen Moore - has been solid OC every where he went. Might be in line for promotion if Eagles can win the Super Bowl. He would be key if they make a run - Joe Brady- Bills offense has been rolling. He could emerge; he was the mind behind of the best college teams ever. - Liam Coen- Bucs offense has been a machine. He’s going be a hot name - Zach Robinson - depends on how the Falcons finish the season. He’s had moments and comes from a strong system ——— - Mike Vrabel wouldn’t be bad if we couldn’t get the above. I actually would hire Brian Flores over him
agarcia34
I am in huge favor of a new coach because of the rookie QB that’s going in. Match him up with the new coach and make that a marriage. Don’t do what the Bears did and keep a coach on the hot seat and start that cycle of a new system new everything in the QBs second year. Mike Vrabel imo outside of Ben Johnson would be the second best option. A non play calling HC most important hire is always the OC hire. Would need to hit a HR there. Some good options should be there for OCs as well.

Good coaches with success, well liked by players but more than just mere "rah rah" guys. I think they're the types you can absolutely trust a rookie QB with and not be concerned about anything wonky going on.
NYRaider
Does anyone think there's a chance that AP is brought back?
agarcia34
A chance? Sure, but I think the odds are heavily in favor of a new coach. Also I’m positive they only gave AP a 2 year deal. Which kind of makes it easier to move on from.

Not sure why but I have a feeling that AP will be brought back, we draft Shedeur, fire AP in season next year, and then hire Deion next offseason. I try not to think about it, but yes, absolutely a chance. Mark doesn't want to be the guy with 4 coaches this soon into the Vegas move. Telesco was, ostensibly, brought in to oversee and mentor as the experienced guy with an inexperienced coach. If he pushes for a firing, it's sort of an indictment on himself that he couldn't get the job done- and he's sat on bad HCs in the past. Chump pushed hard and fast for AP along with Sandra, though neither really needs to be in their position either, imo. But the natural question is, there's really 4 power brokers above AP right now, none with much incentive to be the one to break rank and push for him to be fired so soon, so who is it gonna be and how much sway/influence will they ultimately have? It's ludicrous that he'd be brought back at this point, but I'm not convinced quite yet that anyone is comfortable enough to be the first domino to topple as they all have something to lose by it.
NYRaider
My wish list: 1. Ben Johnson 2. Liam Coen 3. Zac Robinson 4. Bobby Slowik 5. Drew Petzing I'd also be open to Mike Vrabel, Jesse Minter, Aaron Glenn, or Brian Flores but would definitely prefer that we target an up and coming offensive coordinator to pair with a young QB. Rolni
Brady was talking really highly about the Lions team. Ben Johnson would be my #1 target and hopefully Brady can convince him to join in...I would throw out Telesco in a minute if the GM position would be a hold up with Johnson. Other then Johnson I would still like to see some young innovative O minded guys rather then Vrabel, but Vrabel is the safer pick I guess. And we might very well need a strong culture guy at HC for a couple of year to really lay down the foundation which later on an offensive mind can build... I'm a bit scared from Vrabel's OC list from his TEN days to be honest... Byron Leftwich could be an interesting OC candidate with Brady ties for sure...not sure why he is sitting out these past 2 seasons tho... Patrick Graham could stay with his Brady ties and I think his scheme would be fine by Vrabel, who would need a solid DC, since he himself is not the best D mind or at least D play caller out there...
