Rtnldave Posted March 23, 2018 Share Posted March 23, 2018 My biggest problem with a guy like RG is that he posses the potential to be a huge difference maker for this team. I'm not saying he is Charles Haley, but imagine if he could play at that level or close to it. The potential is there. Just think about what it would do for our defense. Now, think about banking on that and then he gets high and gets caught. Where are we now? It is the same old story, great players, great potential, can't put it together off the field. You know, when you look at the Iggles roster from last year, you didn't hear about a single problem from their squad. Squeaky clean to the last man. No more L. Johnson issues with banned substances, nobody carrying a firearm over a bridge, now drug users or woman abusers. In short, it helps to have everyone on roster on the field barring injury. I just don't think we can trust a player to perform at a high level and then have him reach that level, and then fall off due to personal issues. It would absolutely crush our morale.
