The 33-year-old Barbre was slated to make $1.25 million this year, and Roseman’s statement suggest a pay cut could be in order if he comes back. But Barbre has also played well enough it’s reasonable to think he could find a starting job elsewhere.

Somewhat of a surprise cut as he played very well last season at both Guard and Tackle filling in for Lane Johnson while he was suspended. Would be a solid depth guy or spot starter for any team.

EDIT: Apparently after the Eagles made the announcement he has been released the Broncos agreed to trade a conditional 7th round pick for Barbre before the transaction was actually processed

The way this went down is just ridiculous to me. You would assume the press conference would happen after the transaction has already been made with the NFL. Its just another Mark Sanchez deal that the Eagles will probably get nothing out of but at least I got a chuckle from it.
