Absolutely, but I feel like I'm getting my hopes up.  It seems that the Packers are going to be in the market for a proven DC instead of an up and coming one.

I'd say yes since Firing Brien would hit the reset button on Watson's development and he'd have to learn an entire new offense on top of rehabbing from a mid-season torn ACL.

Also this, Rick Smith seems like he should be the one to go since he's failed to get O'Brien a decent QB outside of Watson.

I'll say Sean Payton suprises everyone and leaves New Orleans if Brees walks in FA. I think it's unlikely but a possibility.

If I have to pick a side, I'd rather keep O'Brien. Smith's incompetence is far more egregious. That said, I can't say I'm overly attached to either.
