This makes more sense now It was originally reported as a felony third degree robbery.
ravens5520
That is absolutely crazy... Filed charges over a charging cord? The cord cost 30$ max, so was he just pushing the envelope because of Humphrey's name and position with the NFL?!

These MFers filed charges over a $15 phone charger. Marlon had to have said something at some point.
Ballimore
It should be a crime for the driver to file such a petty charge. Really? I can go buy you a charger at Five Below for $5 and I bet it work the same way the $15 one worked...

I saw this and just crumbled. But maybe, like Ray Lewis’ felony charge, this somehow leads to a super bowl?? What an idiot. We need to stay away from these Alabama players, they’re all delusional. And they’re all so stupid. Nothing good ever happens when you go back to “Bama” in the off-season, yet they all continue to go. And they all continue to get in trouble with the law. And they all put their careers in danger. This just after his former teammate got into trouble. You would think something would mentally click in your head, like, let me avoid doing anything crazy when down there. Hopefully Saban and Ozzie have ties that can get him out of this and then MAYBE hope he doesn’t get suspended for an entire season for a felony charge. But now we may also need to fear for him. Perhaps he’ll at some point want to relive his “Bama” glory days and live it up with the females down there that are so much different than the females in any other place on earth. They have a Bama pheromone and Bama legs and Bama hair... not something to be under appreciated.?

Mancunian Raven
Oh, great. Just what the Ravens need. A stupid kid who gets drunk and commits stupid, boneheaded crimes. Some of these kids need it written into their contracts that, if they do stuff like this, they risk forfeiting all the money they've been paid by the organisation. Nobody would ever sign that contract out of fear of having a situation happen where it's an honest mistake and now they're paying back everything they've been paid. Danand
For all the times I have been drunk, I have never managed to do the things many NFL players seem to do in the off season. Guess I am just not rich enough.
DontTazeMeBro
After the Ray Rice fiasco and that offseason where everyone was getting arrested we put way too much emphasis on character. It didn’t work. You’re not going to build a championship team with a bunch of saints. It’s a violent game that you almost have to be crazy to play. Some of these guys are going to be a little bit off
AFlaccoSeagulls
^ I agree with that, but I don't think the organization does. They're still trying to repair their PR image after the Ray Rice stuff.
