Sam Ficken is the only guy I want replacing Crosby right now...and his last name translated from German is perfect!

How this guy isnt peddling T-shirts printed with: "I am fricken perfect" is beyond me :)

I know Crosby has the leg for touchbacks.  Always has.

It was always confusing to me why we weren't kicking for touchbacks.  For years we've tried the old kick it high to the side and inside the 3.  It rarely works and that isn't on the kicker.  Our kickoff cover teams have been just that poor.  We didn't cover well, yet we thought we did.

I'd rather we just kick it deep and let them start at the 25.

With Patterson back there for the Bears, that is a wise move every time.

Maybe if there is some scrub back there you take your chances, but even then I've grown very tired of watching us mess up those coverage opportunities.

Update:

59 days.  Last time I posted this, it was 70 some days and 20% of the year remaining until the season starts.

Now, it's 16.16% of the year remaining before the season starts.

In less than a month, football will be a month away.

from ACME Packing

"Unbeknownst to most of the NFL and its media, the Green Bay Packers been a consistently great rushing team for years.
Take a look at their season DVOA rank for rushing offense over the past three seasons:

  • 2018: 3rd
  • 2017: 3rd
  • 2016: 5th

however, they ranked last in rushing attempts in 2018
