PackerWire: The Green Bay Packers are entering their Week 11 bye with an 8-2 record and sole possession of first place in the NFC North. They’re also currently holding the No. 2 seed in the conference, setting up Matt LaFleur’s team to make a legitimate run at a first-round bye over the final six weeks of the season.

The Packers play four of their final six games on the road, beginning in Week 12 at 49ers. With a win, the Packers can take over control of the No. 1 seed in the conference. The team’s final six games include only two games against teams currently possessing a winning record.

The Packers are 3-0 in the NFC North but finish with three straight games within the division, including back-to-back road games. It’s looking increasingly more likely that the Week 16 game in Minnesota will determine the division winner.

from The Athletic

“We’re in a blessed position with our record and with our health right now,” said wide receiver Davante Adams, whose four-game absence with turf toe was the Packers’ biggest hit of the season. “We have to make sure we don’t take that for granted and take care of business.”

Their 2-0 giveaway-takeaway advantage over Carolina improved Green Bay to plus-9, which ranked third in the NFL. The Packers are tied for fourth in most takeaways with 16; they rank third in fewest giveaways with seven.

Not only haven’t the Packers lost a fumble since Game 6, but they also haven’t fumbled – period – in the last four games. As for interceptions, Aaron Rodgers has thrown exactly four in his last 26 starts.

So, just for fun, out of the current NFC teams with 3 or fewer losses:

Packers (8-2): Bye, @SF, @NYG, Wash, CHI, @MIN, @DET -- (2 home, 4 road) (Play 2 teams with current winning records - both on road)

Saints: (7-2): @TB, CAR, @ATL, SF, IND, @TEN, @CAR -- (3 home, 4 road) (Play 4 teams with current winning records - 3 at home and 1 on road)

Hawks (8-2): Bye, @PHI, MIN, @LAR, @CAR, ARZ, SF -- (3 home, 3 road) (Play 5 teams with winning records - 2 at home and 3 on road)

Niners (8-1): ARZ, GB, @BAL, @NO, ATL, LAR, @SEA -- (4 home, 3 road) (Play 5 teams with current winning records - 2 at home and 3 on road)

Vikings: (7-3): DEN, Bye, @SEA, DET, @LAC, GB, CHI -- (4 home, 2 road) (Play 2 teams with current winning records, 1 at home and 1 on road)

Toughest schedules remaining: I'd say (1) Niners and (2) Hawks

Easiest schedules remaining: I'd say (1) Vikings and (2) Packers

Not to take anything away from this fine thread, but the 2018 Packer Free Agency thread had over 500 pages.  We obviously have a thriving forum.
