Or not I guess. The bolded is very true. I don't think he's expecting your TE to get worked over as bad as he is. The play is very poorly designed, it's blocked like it's going to Ingold and probably would've been a 10+ yard gain if they gave it to him. There's nothing there for Davis. That's irrelevant, MVS may not catch another pass this season. He and Rodgers are done until the off-season. He's our clear #5 at this point.

Again, if he simply cut up to the left of Moreau and behind Brown thats an automatic 1st. I don't get how that's not evident to you. Bad play design or not, the opportunity was blatantly there and he absolutely f'd it up. Whatever though, best of luck to the guy. Hope he finds that super specific niche he requires. Meanwhile there are two Chiefs defenders ready to fill that gap before he can. Yeah he could have done better than run into his own blocker, but this doesn't look like it's on Davis. Edit: I actually just watched it a few more times and yeah — if he had tried to cut it back, Tyrann Mathieu would have taken his life. Leader
LOL I'm reading this thing backwards and wondering 'bout these: "Bring Davis back...." sentiments about getting this new guy. Then I see OAK has cut Davis loose! HA! The Special Teams world is certainly spinning like a top!

So you don't seem overly impressed with the 9 catches for 122 yards that Davis' accumulated during his 3+ years as a Packer WR. Trevor Davis is as weak physically as he is mentally and people think he is coming back to GB to be the team's deep threat? Kudos to Gute for stealing a 6th round pick for this stiff. More kudos to Gute if/when he adds a competent return man.

He had 7 receptions for 83 yards in 7 games for the Raiders. It’s almost like the only way to get receptions is to have a QB who throws you the ball. Leader
Ben Fennell - Packers are frustrating. They're an offense lacking efficiency/consistency & a defense that gives up yards But...Offense has only 8 giveaways all year - 2nd fewest. Defense generates turnovers, gets after QBs, and buckles down in the Red Zone. This is a formula to compete. Giants had 3 scoring drives and it took them 11, 18, and 10 plays to get point... Average starting field position was NYG20 on the day. Make them go 70-80 yards and don't put defense in bad spots. Aaron Nagler - Yup, been the formula all year and two games out of the bye week its hard to see evidence of any dramatic changes. This is who they are.
