You responded to that post that Rodgers "Scored only 20. 6 first half points" in that game. I, in turn, pointed out that Rodgers passing-game WEAPONS in that gamer were WRs Janis & Abbrederis, TE Richard Rodgers, and RBs Kuhn, Lacy, and Starks. Given the motley crew of "receivers" he had to throw to, proclaiming that Rodgers was somehow at fault because GB ONLY SCORED 20 points against Arizona in that 2015 playoff game is unadulterated nonsense. He had James Jones playing in that game. He also had Cobb for a quarter. Our scoring drives in that game: Crosby FG on a drive that started on the Cardinals 40 Crosby FG on a drive that started on the Packers 12 Rodgers 8 yard TD pass on a drive that had 73 yards of Lacy running the ball. Rodgers 41 yard TD pass on a drive with two blind hail marys to Janis.

I have no doubt that in your mind Rodgers had Davante Adams, and Randall Cobb available to him for at least the full first half of the Packers 2015 Divisional Round playoff loss to the Cardinals. Unfortunately, indisputable evidence reveals that not to be the case. "Adams never seemed right after turning his ankle in Week 2. He then suffered a knee injury in the Wild Card game and missed the Divisional Round." http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000665257/article/packers-davante-adams-wasnt-proud-of-2015-season "Immediately after making one of the greatest catches that didn't count in the NFL playoffs so far, Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb left the NFC divisional playoff game against the Cardinals with a chest injury. On the late first-quarter play with the Packers trailing 7-0, Cobb dove, stretched and caught a 51-yard Aaron Rodgers pass ." Cobb played 15 snaps. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/packers-randall-cobb-chest-injury-out-cardinals-playoffs/1dhhf53snxjl515wiiql1e2r8p As for James Jones, he did actually play in that game -- THE FINAL GAME OF HIS NFL CAREER. He was targeted twice and finished without a catch. I concur that there are legitimate bases for criticizing Rodgers various playoff performances over the years. However, criticizing him for the Packers not scoring more points in the 2015 playoff loss to Arizona is hogwash.
MacReady
James Jones averaged 17.8 yards per catch on 50 receptions in the 2015 regular season. He wasn’t a bad player. Maybe the game would have gone differently if Rodgers had managed some points when Cobb and Jones were both in the game. His fault? No, but he didn’t help himself by another slow start. He has to be more aggressive BEFORE playoff games are over.

Not saying you’re doing this, but it’s like, “Wow, you prevented your **** up from being a worse **** up. But seriously, Aaron had one interception in that game that should never have been an interception. He threw it to Driver where Driver was LITERALLY the only one who could possibly have caught it, but Driver tipped it right into Lance Briggs’ hands. Yeah, that was mostly tongue-in-cheek. I imagine we could spread dead cap hit out over two years if we do a designation as well. But, quite frankly, we don't save enough to warrant that move I don't think. He should be an overpaid reserve player in 2020.
MacReady
Maybe Lowry would be better with a different defensive coordinator who didn’t suck.
Leader
Based on his on the field performance too date, Lowry should be a rotational depth guy. I think thats his best value and his contract is only a factor in so much as it makes him replaceable. Lancaster is Depth Guy #2 at this stage. While both are good enough to play at this level, their ceilings aren't cathedral high.

I asked this over in the original Lowry thread, but given that Lowry's cap hits/dead cap #s are $5.2/$4.5M (2020), $6.3/$3M (2021), and $7.3/$1.5M (2022), how long does GB keep him on roster? Leader
Davante Adams, Kenny Clark and Za’Darius Smith have been named to the Pro Bowl roster. They’re replacing the injured Julio Jones, Aaron Donald and Khalil Mack.
