Because you know numerous contenders would have got in line to offer a better trade. Carolina got the home town discount (it seems). Even without surgery it would seem 3 weeks would be needed for him to heal up. Luckily the division looks horrible, let's hope Jaire, Z and Bakh are all healthy and playing by wildcard weekend. We also have LaDarious Hamilton or the option to bring Galaei up from the PS but your point still stands. It will not be easy at this point of the year. Maybe I’m an optimist but I’m hoping for a better record than to be playing wildcard weekend with Bak, Elgton, MVS? hopefully coming back relatively soon. Also hopeful JIaire can avoid IR. More like potential with raw athleticism or old guy who is tough but can’t fly. Premium positions don’t get to the PS if they can play.
