I sure hope so.  The guy is near lineman level of blocking, and the Bengals game shows that he can still make a catch and run if he absolutely needs to.

He’s got time to show up and learn his spot on defense.  I hope he picks it up and we can turn him loose in the second half. 

He did create a little pressure on a rush up the middle.

He also missed an open field tackle.

Everything else was meh, but at least I didn't see Ty Summers out there, which is probably a good thing.

Paul Bretl -  8 total pressures for Dean Lowry the last two weeks, per PFF. Typically not someone whose presence is felt on the stat sheet but he’s been playing well the last few weeks.
