packfanfb
Hasn't been talked about, but Mercilus should also be a great locker room guy. Savy veteran player and I think he's a pretty great human off the field too.
Sasquatch
These recent signings are coming at the perfect time, IMO. The schedule gets tough after this week and the injuries are mounting. It also gives Jaylon and Mercillus time to get adjusted to GB’s system before the playoff push. Now if we can just avoid any additional injuries, smh. 15412
The other signings so far this year I found interesting. This one I find exciting...
minnypackerfan
Hopefully it is for players minimum because he really is not what he used to be.
Arthur Penske
Looks like he turned down more money from other teams (chiefs?) to play in GB. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/32439089/pass-rusher-whitney-mercilus-sign-green-bay-packers-source-says

At least that is what I've read from some here and in newspapers.

skibrett15
this has way more of a chance than Jaylon Smith, who was never good, because Mercilus was actually good at some point.

Come on bro, Jaylon Smith had three very solid years in Dallas, and was named to the pro bowl in 2019. To say he was never good is just not the case at all.

skibrett15
all he did was tackle people on a terrible defense. Sean Lee was 10x the player alongside him and was physically breaking down. LVE was 30x the player right from his rookie season. Smith was a great college player though.

mikebpackfan
Wow, didn’t realize Barnes had that few snaps. He still limited due to injury? Or is this really the way it’s gonna be?
