craig
Bojo's 40-yard-net shank came off of a really low snap. He had to really bend down to pick that off the grass. A kind of an awesome play by Bojo, actually. The other fail was on the one kick-return by Amari that actually looked productive for a change, out to the 35 or so. But immediately called back for a penalty. I don't think TV showed what or where the penalty was. It often seems to me while sometimes good returns are enabled by penalties, that often the penalty is far aside or behind the return guy's path, and has zero contribution to a return. No idea on that one whether the penalty was one of those "man, totally-dumb-and-irrelevant" penalties, or whether Amari would have been down at the 17 otherwise. craig
MLF noted that both Amari and Malik were shaken up in the game. So the use of Sullivan on punt and Jones on kick was NOT necessarily intentional.

Actually.....it was fully intentional...but unplanned
HighCalebR
Was Kamal Martin bad at ST? is Duff somehow better. Still seems like an odd move.

Crosby seems to have righted the ship. Other than that, special teams is still a frickin dumpster fire and not sure it's going to get put out. mtsportsfan1
Don't know if it has been mentioned, but I don't think we had any significant injuries for the first time in awhile !

In the end that is the one ST piece that we need to be firing for the playoffs. The rest is just about avoiding catastrophic failure which we have been flirting with all season. packfanfb
We haven't seen as many long explosive runs this season, but quietly, Jones and Dillon have been a solid combo: Jones: 997 total yards, 10 total TDs Dillon: 910 total yards, 5 total TDs

That guy is a stud.

Sometimes stats don't mean a heck of a lot. Overall, the running game has been a nice compliment to the passing game. The play calling often times is average to poor on the running game. Not to mention nearly 1/3 of their (Jones/Dillon) yards and more than half of their TD's have come in the passing game. The overall production has been good enough.

We've also had an OL most of year with 3-4 guys who are below average to average run blockers.
