BrettFavre004
For sure take a next year pass on FA. Maybe get a guy who was released for a smaller deal, but otherwise we have a lot of our own to resign, we don't have a ton of money, and any FA we sign will cost us a 2021 comp pick. We don't care about comp picks anymore. Also we don't have a lot of our own to re-sign. No breaks. Push it right up to the cap number every year until Aaron retires and burn it all down after that. Suck to get another QB so we don't have to send our 1st for a couple years to get another. If Aaron retires with 1 SB ring and we have a healthy cap situation, Gute deserves the hellstorm that he'll get.
BrettFavre004
Given I think we have Aaron for 5 more years, I think 2021 comp picks are still totally relevant. Unless you'd rather give guys like Fackrell 12M and Spriggs 5M per to keep those guys around.

Maybe/maybe not - but doesnt feel like it to me. Besides, we wont have to cause we're gonna draft Burns in a few weeks

However if I'm not paying them that, I'm not trading that 17m for a 2021 4th and 6th round picks. I'm signing a good player for my 2020 team. Now if the opportunity to sign like a Justin Houston type guy and not affect the formula comes, sure take it. If not, I don't care about comp picks until Aaron retires . BrettFavre004
Next year will certainly matter more than the past 3 years combined for a guy like Fackrell.

I think he will turn in a solid season in 2019. With the Smiths on the field, I think Fack will draw less attention and be productive. If he gets another 6 sacks or so, someone is going to greatly overpay for him. And it won't be GB.
packfanfb
Something new. Did Mac ever do joint practices?

Tons of front office/coaching connections there, AFC team, reasonably close.
