Although he created big-play opportunities with his magical improvisational skills, No. 4 excelled in an environment with coaching excellence around him. He had a series of high-IQ teachers (see Mike Holmgren, Sherman Lewis, Steve Mariucci and Andy Reid) with the communication skills and knowledge to challenge him and grow his game. Thought came to me to reflect on how good a coaching staff that was.......... High-IQ coaches....hmmm...something #12 has been frustrated by the lack of....reportedly of course. Google Earthed it and thats a fairly desolate / isolated section of town Guess they dont have enough people to support a public school system.....so they head north? The families that live in the little triangle of land at the northwest corner of the chimney are residents of the US and Minnesota. I suppose they had their own schoolhouse at one time, but now the students travel by bus into Canada and then south back out of Canada into Minnesota to their schools—and then back again every day. The border points are manned by video/ telephone, and people passing through are obligated to check in/check out via the video link to Canadian authorities. No exceptions. I do think it is really interesting that the Packers will get a chance to play in front of Canadian football fans. I chose a place called Angle Inlet to look at. There's not a whole bunch of towns up there. There really isnt much to it at all except a lot of trees and given the scarcity of houses, I'd think home schooling might be considered - as opposed to trying to find a nearby school. In any case, it appears that they're bordered to the north by a body of water - and I cant see a road or bridge that crosses it heading north into Canada - so why dont they just drive south? Granted - you have to go where the few available roads will take you...... Some basic info on Angle Inlet....... Angle Inlet is a census-designated place (CDP) and unincorporated community in Angle Township, Lake of the Woods County, Minnesota, United States. Its population was 60 as of the 2010 census. The community is part of the Northwest Angle, the only place in the contiguous United States north of the 49th parallel; it is the northernmost census-designated place in the contiguous United States. The French built Fort Saint Charles nearby in 1732. Angle Inlet has the last one-room school in the state and a post office with a sign stating that it is the "Most Northerly P.O. in Contiguous U.S." To travel to Angle Inlet from other parts of Minnesota by road requires driving through Manitoba, Canada. I wonder what these people do for a living........ For so few homes, they sure do have a lot of boat docks................ Remember Ted wasn't fired per se, just moved to less demanding position which is probably what he wanted deep down anyway (he had been talking about retirement for a while.) He's still technically employed by the team as the "Senior Advisor to Football Operations" which probably means he's on good terms with everyone in the building (he just shows up when he can/wants to). Not referring to Ted. Referring to Elliot Wolf getting passed over for the GM job, getting asked by Gutey to stay, then basically going to cleveland for a similar job Gutey offered. All while Ron Wolf making pissed off comments that Elliot didn’t get the GM job. Not staying they don’t get along, just has the potential to be some what awkward. Chili
I'm slightly surprised at this mainly because I thought Coleman was a better fit than Carson for the ZBS. I felt Carson was too stiff and heavy footed to implement the one cut and go running style required for the scheme. Coleman is quicker and more agile.
