The other weird comment about the lack of crowd noise came from Steve Young during his time in the USFL- playing in a nearly empty stadium He said the defense could hear him call the play in the huddle and they had to move back to 20 yds behind the LOS and have him with his *** to the defense instead of the other way around . Even the helmet mics for the QBs are gonna be loud enough for the defense to hear.
