Leader
This falls under "every little bit helps"....... Jason B. Hirschhorn - The Packers will carry over $3.7 million of salary-cap space into 2021, according to the NFLPA.

Leader
Bill Huber / SI - It will be a challenge to get under the salary cap by the start of the league-year on March 17, even after Friday's transactions. It will be a challenge to sign his own free agents, such as All-Pro center Corey Linsley and running back Aaron Jones. And it will be a challenge to add an impact player to the roster, such as with JJ Watt. With the release of offensive tackle Rick Wagner and linebacker Christian Kirksey, the Packers are about $11.45 million over a projected salary cap of $180.5 million. Getting to the break-even point by March 17 will be tricky enough, let alone creating additional space to sign the draft class and handle in-season roster moves. deathstar
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryan_Mahaffey According to his wiki he’s the TE coach now. Edit - that’s been changed I guess. Edited February 20, 2021 by deathstar

I keep seeing these statements but obviously the Packers have a plan. They already offered Jones a reported hefty deal that he turned down. So the Packers certainly believe they have the money to make a big move, whether thats for Jones, Linsley, Watt or someone else. They'll figure it out. This notion that the Packers have zero ability to sign anyone simply is not true.

As to whether the Packers "believe they have the money to make a big move...." That is unproveable and remains to be seen. If they can massage some contracts - without - putting us into cap hell two years from now.....fine. There's some needle threading to be done. Sasquatch
Cryptic Packer player tweets like this get folks in the Twitter-verse all worked up, but no reason to be alarmed since he’s still on his rookie deal. Maybe he just broke up with his girlfriend?

Maybe he just broke up with his girlfriend? Yeah, not really anywhere for him to go. You're either talking about something that happened in his personal life, or something that happened in his positional group. If we expand positional group out to the DB rooms, the most likely thing is Kevin King.

Sasquatch
This cracks me up. Our QB is a lovable nerd, according to his new fiancé.

Honestly if there is anything gained from the Pat McAfee Show its that Rodgers is kind of a loveable smart hippie nerd. The one thing I never get out of his interviews are Alpha Male Athlete that so many other NFL players fit into.

Just watched it and she makes it pretty clear she has never watched or attended a football game. She sounds like she doesn't even really know what position Rodgers plays outside of "Throwing Balls". {Family Ghost}
Semi-serious question .. I wonder if Rodgers would quit football if offered the Jeopardy gig on a full time basis?
