Ryan Wood -   Jordan Love sailed a pass over open Robert Tonyan’s head in the right flat. A few reps later, he overthrows open Malik Taylor down right sideline. A year ago, rarely saw Love cut loose on a throw. He’s let it rip more this offseason. A bit too much, at times.

Ryan Wood -   Blake Bortles just hit Robert Tonyan for a deep TD pass down left sideline in 2-minute drill. Bortles stepped up in pocket and hit Tonyan in stride over the shoulder. Tonyan got behind Kabion Ento.

The talking heads and their sheep worried about Love accuracy, one day into a minicamp.

Rodgers had the same worrying about himself early on as well.  Some things never change, fodder for the sheep.

Overthrowing guys could be adrenalin, wanting to impress and trying a little too hard. I'd be more interested if he's throwing to the right person in his progressions.

Anybody remember Favre used to always throw his first pass or two over everybody. He was always way too jacked up. If the wind was right he would have overthrown the Ayatollah.

He eventually grew out of it.

Cause thats what he does. He talks at the extremes in order to elicit a feeling or influence an opinion.

He's isn't as bad as he used to be tbf. But then him and Joy were saying that they're hiding Love. Won't let him get interviewed etc. And he can't run a 2 minute drill? I guess.

All this stuff about the other first round QBs last year did interviews but he barely existed. Yeah well nationally nobody cared because he wasn't going to play?

Favre sailed everything early in games, early in his career.  He couldn't throw an accurate ball early in the game unless he got knocked around a little bit.

Always thought Simmons or White should knock him around on the sidelines before games to get him going right.

He's been ripping on Green Bay - as both an entity itself (small, conservative, old money, stuck in their ways, no owner yadayadayada.....) and a destination for free agents (nobody wants to be/go there....) - and with regard to this specific circumstance - the front office (bad culture, no communication, stuck in their ways <again>, the GM's gotta go.....)

Namely - he's been blowing AR on national TV.

Interestingly, it was Bucky Brooks who first put Cowherd in his place with a different take on what he'd been spewing...and as this becomes more "fixable" - Cowherd's been trying to find ways to walk back his positions. Still in AR's court - just stopped blowing him.

😄

Wayne Simmons, now there was a guy who brought a bad attitude to the game with him. RIP!
