Ok I'll give this a whirl. At least to round 4 lol.

FA Signings:

RB Carlos Hyde. Perfect compliment to Duke.

WR Terrelle Pryor. Bring him back home.

CB either Fuller, Butler, or Joseph anyone would be a huge upgrade.

FS Bradley McDougald fills maybe the biggest need other then QB. Let's get Peppers to his right position at SS.

2018 NFL Draft

1.1 QB Sam Darnold: so glad he entered the draft. I like Rosen's ability but not his personality. I think this is a slam dunk pick and Darnold will be a stud in the NFL.

1.4 CB Minkah Fitzpatrick: if he is not available then either Barkley or trade down but stay in top 10 to get Denzel Ward and get another 1st rounder for next year. With this being a heavy QB draft i think a lot of teams will overpay to move up.

2.1 WR Christian Kirk: I wouldn't mind James Washington here either but I think Kirk is gonna be really good at least in the slot to start him off.

2.4 CB Jaire Alexander: no doubt CB is a glaring need of ours.

2.31ish RB Damian Harris: a nice complement to Duke.

3.1  OT Jamarco Jones: Need to shore up that right side.

4.1 FS Armani Watts: i think this is a good fit.

4.28ish TE Adam Beneman: let's use some lethal 2 pass catching TE sets.

There you have it. Went off CBS sports line 7 round mock to gage where everyone comes of the board. I'm sure you guys will mock my mock so have at it gentlemen.

Love Hyde. Love getting a top tier CB and a solid FS. I don't know why we all want Pryor back. They thought he was bad for the locker room. Washington thinks the same. He doesn't see the field in Washington and they aren't exactly overflowing with WRs either. I'd dump big money on Allen Robinson or smaller money on Sammy Watkins, Marqise Lee, Paul Richardson, or Jordan Matthews (slot). And then there are like ten guys on Pryor's level that I'd consider along with him.

The only pick I wouldn't LOVE (don't think Jamarco Jones or Armani Watts are there where you've got us getting them) is Christian Kirk. I like him a lot, but purely as a slot guy. I'm not sure if I'd go pure slot guy or more of a hybrid. I'm not super against it though.

With Sam declaring for the draft it makes things so much easier for us.  We get our QB and we get some major help on the D via the draft.

1  Sam Darnold....best QB in the class

1a Bradley Chubb...Garrett and Chubb will terrorize QB's for the next decade

2 Courtland Sutton....best WR left on the board and will be a solid #3 or 4

2a Ronnie Harrison...really like this kid and think with him and Peppers together we take a major step forward

2c...traded along with pick 4a to move up....Josh Jackson...a healthy BBC, Mcourty, and Jackson make a nice trio

3 Simmie Cobbs....he replaces Higgins, Louis, and whoever else is there

4 Kevin Toliver II...I think he is going to be here and is going to be a big steal

5  Troy Fumagalli...he catches everything thrown his way...Mr. 1st down

BPA rest of the way

Free Agency

QB Case Keenum as I don't see the Vikings keeping him

RB...a bit out there but we take the Brinks truck and sign Le'Veon Bell

RB option B would be Carlos Hyde which is a bit more realistic

WR we finally give TP his payday or we go even bigger and sign Sammy Watkins

C Travis Swanson....bench depth

Not bad but you don't address OT.

I know, my thinking is Joe comes back and to be honest Coleman wasn't really that bad and I think a year under his belt starting will really help him.  We then take Joe's replacement next year.  I would also like to see what Rod Johnson can do but I honestly don't think he is much more than a backup at best....we just have so many holes to fill.

FA - I'm in on all of those. We've got the money, let's use some. I think we could use that a lot of teams still don't believe Keenum is legit to get him at a discount.

Draft - I don't like pass rusher in the top 5 because Ogbah has been waaaaay better than he gets credit for, like, he was a top 10-12 DE in the NFL when he was on the field this year. And I don't like the idea of drafting someone top 5 to be on bench 50% of the time or more. I'd suggest Fitzpatrick or Denzel Ward there.

I think Josh Jackson and Courtland Sutton are both going to go in the 1st round. I like both a ton, but don't think they're available there.

Things I love about this (and there are a lot):

Darnold. Chubbs. (I'll take him here. Fitzpatrick could work as well. Barkley would not because of the Bell signing)  Fumagalli (my boy for this draft.) Stealing Ball from Squeelers. Positions you address in the Draft.

Things I liked but won't happen:

Sutton will not make it to #33.

Things I don't like:

Not addressing the OT. True you said Coleman did a decent job but Joe is getting older and we should look for his replacement and tackle help. I really like Kolton Miller in the late 2nd or the early 3rd.

That is all

FA Signings:

Top Target: 1A. Ezekiel Ansah DE Detroit - 4yrs/60Mil/20GTD

1B. Rashaan Melvin CB Colts- 4 yrs/45Mil/12GTD

2. Kyle Fuller CB Bears- 4 yrs/42Mil/12GTD

3. AJ Mccaron QB Bengals- 3 yrs/ 45 Mil/ 18 GTD

4. Terrelle Pryor WR Washington- 4 yrs/ 25Mil/ 8GTD

5. Jordan Matthews WR Buffalo- 4 yrs/ 25Mil/ 8 GTD - Josh Gordon and Corey Coleman can't be relied upon due to addiction and injury issues respectively. Therefore, we need to sign multiple, reliable pass catchers that can provide starter impact (Both Matthews and Richardson provide that). Pryor can reclaim his impact that he provided on the Browns and be a WR2.

6. Paul Richardson WR Seattle- 4 yrs/ 25Mil/ 8 GTD

7. LT veteran not yet cast off another time. This player is a fall back if Joe Thomas needs more rehab time or has any setbacks.

8. Ricardo Allen FS Falcons (RFA)- 2 yrs/ 10Mil/ 4 GTD

Draft

**** Philosophy: Create as many positional units that can be a decisive force on the field.

1(1) Sam Darnold QB USC

1(4) Saquon Barkley RB PSU

2. Carlton Davis CB Auburn: Best CB in the draft. Plays with length and poise. Mirror technique is effortless. Great competitor. Good ball skills. Needs to work on eye discipline. Already has CB1 press man ability. Day 1 starter impact.

2. Rashaad Penny RB SDSU: 1, 2 punch provides impact that will exceed Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram. Not as talented, but a better runner w/ better vision than Saquon. In reality, is the best RB in the draft. Tremendous  patience and explosion once identifying the hole. Tough runner after contact. 1 of my favorite players in the draft. Would create positional force and decisive advantage on offense.

2,  Mark Andrews TE Oklahoma: Seth Devalve is a nonfactor, has no acceleration/burst, and marginal hands, not a explosive or precise route runner. Randall Telfer is JAG. We need playmakers and should draft as if David Njoku is the only player in the TE room. Andrews has great hands and is a really good blocking TE. Great Ball skills and natural instinct and ability to get open. Can be on the field at the same time with Njoku.

3. Armani Watts FS TAMU: Ultra Competitor, fast mental trigger w/ ability to diagnose and range in the post or in the box. Forceful hitter. Question marks is he has the hip flexibility to play FS, or if he'd be better served as a SS. Injury issues and long speed concerns will drop him in the draft.

4. Jamal Peters CB Miss St. // Duke Dawson CB Florida // Nick Nelson CB Wisconsin //  Kevin Tolliver CB LSU

Jamal Peters has 1st round ability. Prototypical long armed quick/smooth transitioning press man cover. Competes and is a sound tackler. Could end up going much higher. Duke Dawson is smaller, but has CB1 upside with the calm demeanor, competitive fire, and ball skills to make an early impact. Nick Nelson is solid, great tackler, long speed concerns, versatile w/ the ability to make an impact as a nickel CB. Kevin Tolliver is a big, physical CB with long speed concerns but has the hips and movement skills to continually disrupt and run routes for the WRs due to instincts.

4. Adam Breneman TE: UMASS: Supreme ball skills, average blocker, Travis Kelce w/ even better high point pass catching ability. Future pro bowler.

5. Marcus Allen SS PSU // Jordan Whitehead FS Pittsburgh

Marcus Allen has improved in 1 year more than i have ever seen from a prospect. He is a nasty, ultra competitive safety, who is a ball of energy on the field. Has serious speed and play acceleration concerns. If not, would be a 1st round pick. Has no real takeaways and lacks advanced ball skills. More SS than FS. Jordan Whitehead is the most gifted safety position athlete in the draft. Off field concerns will drop him down the board. Has RB movement skills, lacks eye discipline and knowledge of the game. When he's on he looks like a future all pro FS w/ Earl Thomas similarities. Inconsistent and gets caught in bad positions in tackling angles and in the pass game due to poor/underdeveloped recognition and diagnosis skills. Too talented to not make an impact and has KR and PR impact ability.

5. Trayvon Henderson FS/SS Hawaii: Pro bowl FS upside. Speed, power, ball skills, great tackler and the supreme ability to range in the post and be a force in run support. Will be a scout favorite and will likely go much higher. Right now is an unknown. One of my top 10 favorite players in the draft.

6. Darren Carrington WR Utah: Has WR2 with WR1 impact ability. Special ball skills and explosive route runner. Inconsistent. Off the field issues will drop him way down the boards.

7. Hunter Renfrow WR Clemson:  Should and likely will go higher.Self made, walk on player. Great hands, great route running, quick releases and strong YAC ability.

Man that's really similar to my draft. I love Carlton Davis only behind Denzel. The only thing I don't like is the two RBs so early. We REALLY need a center. I feel like Billy Price would make our run game so much better.

just saw Marcus Allen in the 5th. Had him there too. He's gonna be a starter at some point.

Paris Campbell in the 2nd? NO THANKS.

He may very well end up in the 2nd round. I don't know about all the way up at 35 but Parris is a freak athlete who has all the tools to be a much better NFL player than college. He is a big and powerful runner who is great after the catch. He will clearly need to learn a lot about playing receiver in the NFL as he is so raw and plays in a gimmicky offense. I do believe he could be one of the surprise super stars from this draft.

...who has major fumbling issues

...who isn't a natural pass catcher that has major dropsies and catches with his body instead of his hands

...who disappears for quarters on end

...who doesn't run anything close to an NFL route tree

He may be a nice surprise, but with all of those legitimate questions, I'm not taking him in the 2nd round. That's WAY too high.

Billy Price isn't making it out of the 1st round. And if he does it's too high for us when Tretter played well toward the end of the season.

It's unlikely we'd find a rookie Center to come in and start, not struggle and perform better than JC. Centers can always be found in the UFA process.

What does Drew Brees think about his 2 RBs? We need a decisive force/positional advantage somewhere on the field preferably around our QB. It wasn't likely to possible to create that at the WR position in the first 2 rounds, but those 2 RBs allowed me to do so. Also, tried to do so with TE picks later.

Barkley and Penny would be an unstoppable tandem of force worthy of two 1st round picks in my mind frankly  It's a winning dynamic that has also allowed Carson Wentz to ascend last year (2 TEs; 2 RBs combo).

As reliable safety blankets around the QB, paired with a good OL..our offense would be cookin.
