New Coordinators(If Needed)

yeah, makes sense.

Flip is choice #1, then Stefanski.

it's interesting that either way we have an impact on a competing NFC East team. either hire a coach away from the Eagles, and allow one to slip to NYG. or keep the Giants from getting the guy they want.

Did shurmur even consider anyone else? That makes Kevin look even better if shurmur really wants to work with him again

Probably his first choice. First QB coach he found success with. A lot of times when an offensive coach gets a HC gig they drag with a position coach with him to move to the OC. Won’t be calling plays, so most original OC’s won’t want that job.

Alex Marvez of Sporting News reports that Stefanski is Shurmur’s top target for offensive coordinator as he fills out his staff with his new team. Ralph Vacchiano of SNY reports that Stefanski could also serve as quarterbacks coach as Shurmur will be calling plays for the Giants.

The issue for the Giants is that Stefanski is also under consideration to replace Shurmur as the offensive coordinator for the Vikings. His top competition appears to be Eagles quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo, who is set to interview for the job on Thursday, and the Vikings won’t free Stefanski to talk to the Giants unless they decide to move in another direction.

no surprising news here, but it's good to see the news outlets catching up to us.  ¬¬

Shurmur was absolutely exceptional for you guys. Literally did well with any QB they put in front of him. Hard to imagine the offense won't take a bit of a hit.

It'll depend on what qb they go with and if they can improve the o-line some more but we are getting dalvin cook back.  The new guy will have quite a bit to work with

That's a good point.

If Keenum stays, he'll most likely regress. Stefanski has never called plays, Flip from what I heard struggled with it and Bevell is a great QB coach but mediocre OC.

It'll be interesting to see how our offense performs next year.

Every team that lost their solid OC lately, especiallt if replaced with an inexperienced or not proven OC has not performed well the folliwing year. Raiders and Bengals are two examples.

I've noticed that (although with the Bengals they needed to make a change)

I honestly trust Stefanski the most to keep our offense on a similar path.
