Eric Decker says, "And the hands of a GAWD!"

Well, that was the kind of throw/route that was Decker's bread and butter in New York with Fitzbeardrick.  You don't worry so much about separation as screening off the DB and showing the QB your number on a shallow slant.

I hate forward progress. If you're going to allow HBs to keep pushing for yards after they're wrapped up, you shouldn't blow those plays dead.

You can't let a QB just get dragged backwards to hell forever. That guy could have picked Mariota up and ran him in for a safety if the rules allowed it.

This. If a defense can wrap up a defender and push them back 5 yards then they should be rewarded for that.

If the Chiefs lose this, people will look back as their 2:1 pass:run ratio and sneer.

They only had the league leader in rushing yards and a decently sized lead.  Absolutely no reason for them to run the ball more.

No, because as has been said before. Defenders can just pick up ball carriers and put them into the endzone, it'd be a game of safeties at some point.

Good chance the Chiefs still win, but I think this is more against the Chiefs than the Titans being better.

It's hard to understand how they fail to utilize their talents so much when it's clear they know how.

As long as Mariota is on the ground and still fighting, the play shouldn't be blown dead. It's only fair. If Mariota wants to fight and lose yardage, that's on him.
