As we have done in the past, we will vote on each team (voting will last for two days) before advancing to the next one before we get to the pick. This round will be done PRE-Free Agency, so for our purposes we will assume every major FA stays put. the second time we do this will be after most FA have left elsewhere. Each poll will have 10-20 options. If you would like to see someone included in the following round, include it in your post.

Think it comes down to one of Landry, Ferrell, Key, Chubb or Barkley.

I have them going with Barkley personally.

Realistically, Irsay is going to push for Barkley, but I would go with the less sexy option - Quenton Nelson. Fortify that line with the best offensive lineman in the draft. I think he’d come in immediately as one of the top guards in the NFL

I'd take Nelson over  Chubb if Barkley's gone. My Vote BARKLEY  BARKLEY  BARKLEY

I think Nelson is the best player in this draft and would help the Colts tremendously. But I think Bark is the sexy pick.

I voted Barkley. The arguments about getting a running back later are good for another debate. I see Barkley being a game changing RB where I’m not so sure Chubb fits that as a pass rusher. Additionally the Colts drafting Chubb might mean changing to a 4-3 D to better utilize him.

I really wish we could take Barkley and Nelson.

I think Chubb can play 3-4 OLB, but I also don’t think the distinction matters as much as people make it out to be.

Does a DL of Chubb-Ridgeway-Hankins-Anderson not work? I think that would make for a potentially great 4-3 under front.

Not that I don’t think it would work. I already explained to Warhorse that most of our defense has played 4-3 at some point in there career. Plus we have lined up in 4-3 at times.

If we don’t resign NT Al Woods the likely front 4 would be:

Sheard/Basham

Anderson/Ridgeway/Hankins

Hankins/Stewart

Chubb(p)/Anderson(r)

*edit* OLB John Simon is also available but I figured in a 4-3 he might be a better fit at MLB (he played some in Balt) or SLB.

I went with Chubb. 3 is to high for a RB. If it was 4 then it makes all the sense. But not 3. :D
