I have felt like this too. At least the weather is on our side for now anyways.  We lost to tebow and nothing happened, will bortles going that club? 2 of the worst QBs ever in playoff history.

eh, Bortles isn't a historically terrible playoff QB. Bad QBs start in the playoffs fairly regularly. Matt McGloin started a game last year, TJ Yates, etc.

Jags have the defense to keep Pitt in check on the ground and through the air. Bortles is the game's x-factor imo. 3 ways it plays out imo...

Bortles plays well = Jags win

Bortles game manages = close game decided in final quarter

Bortles goes full Bortles = Pitt win easily

There were others (possibly) , which is why I types two (of the) worst  instead of the two worst. Still , bortles has a bit of improvement as of now . Lets see if he has a break out playoff game, I hope not but that is why they play the game.

I might be going out on a limb here but, he might be because he's terrible.

Sexy and provocative article on the rampant Bortles Hate:

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2753093-blake-bortles-is-getting-the-job-done-but-it-hasnt-won-him-any-fans

"Yet the main takeaway from Sunday's historic Jaguars win was a case of the giggles over Bortles' 87-yard passing, 88-yard rushing performance, which was so clumsy and anemic that it could not be rationalized by any sane observer as "gritty game management" or "finding a way to win," our usual euphemisms for ugly quarterbacking in a victory."

"Bortles' boundless on-field enthusiasm only makes matters worse. He comes across like the tee-baller who dribbles a grounder in front of the pitcher, rounds the bases on preschool throwing errors and won't stop bragging about his "home run" until even grandma begs him to change the subject."

They can say what they want, but he did.

Right before half he took off and got us in FG position to tie it up.

2nd drive of 2nd half he leads us down the field with his legs and gets the TD on 4th down to give us the lead which was all our defense needed.

Was ugly no doubt, but still did what was needed to get the W. Won't work this week, but it was all that was needed last week with our D against Tyrod.
