hsfolk
who you got? Cameron Jordan? Calais Campbell?
JMG5
I want Cameron Jordan to win, but it's probably going to Donald. There are a lot of deserving players this year, but Donald seemed unblockable. He was an issue for opposing offenses all year long (as was Jordan and Campbell). Close race though. whitehops
personally i think it will be aaron donald but harrison smith should be runner-up: https://purpleptsd.com/no-matter-how-good-you-think-harrison-smith-is-hes-better-than-you-think-he-is/ teams literally can't scheme around smith because he lines up everywhere and adjusts to the offense almost every snap. no matter where he lined up he had an elite impact and ended up PFF's highest graded player this season. again, donald's constant dominance at the LOS is much more noticeable so he'll probably win DPOY but harrison smith is just as deserving. Harrison is up there and is certainly deserving of the award but he's not flashy enough to get votes. He's rarely on the TV with the cameras focused in on him doing some celebration dance or making the top-10 on SportsCenter so most people don't see him play. The Vikings defense is like the 1980 Miracle on Ice hockey team. It relies on the team playing together and doing their assigned jobs rather than 1-2 superstars running the defense. It doesn't make for flashy. I got Donald, however. Well deserving. He's an animal and an absolute pleasure to watch play.

Jordan and Campbell were both overshadowed by Ramsey and Lattimore some weeks. I think they'll unjustly lose some votes for that. I'd vote Donald over them anyway. JAF-N72EX
Pass rushers almost always get this award unless an interior defensive player has a memorable type of year. Donald should win it, imo, but don't be surprised if Lawrence ends up getting it and I wouldn't be mad at that either to be honest.
