Seahawks Fire OC Bevell

Recommended Posts

Holy crap they actually did it....they actually fired Bevell. Amazing. There's a reason that after all these years with Russell Wilson and their success, no team wanted Bevell. The guy's offenses were horrible and the only reason they didn't seem horrible is that Russell Wilson is a goddamn magician. It felt like 75% of plays were Wilson dropping back, everyone's covered, Wilson takes off and makes something out of nothing.

Now there's a twist, because if there's anyone who has been worse at his job than Bevell, it's been Tom Cable.

And some how this guy keeps getting interviewed for head coaching jobs too.

I guess we'll see about Bevell. Wilson doesn't seem like a guy who is meant to play within structure. I won't be surprised if he's the same guy with a new OC.

Wouldn't the goal to be Wilson being the same guy, but having better plays called?

I guess, but if he's going to go off script, how much of a difference does it make in the passing game?

Well I was about to praise the move for Seattle but the Tom Cable thing might have turned that away lol

All us Rams, Cards and 49ers fans just got a lot happier. Can't think of someone who's been as bad as his job as Cable :D
