As we have done in the past, we will vote on each team (voting will last for two days) before advancing to the next one before we get to the pick. This round will be done PRE-Free Agency, so for our purposes we will assume every major FA stays put. the second time we do this will be after most FA have left elsewhere. Each poll will have 10-20 options. If you would like to see someone included in the following round, include it in your post.

If Clelin Ferrell stays another year at Clemson and the board falls like this I'm gonna pick Vita Vea DT Washington. Roquon Smith will get some hype, along with Arden Key and Joshua Jackson. I'd be okay with any of those guys too but give me the pac12 DPOY and i'm happy.

I went off the path on this one and picked Roquan Smith. I think he blows up the combine and winds up a top 10 pick. A lot of people will say it’s not a good pick because they just used a 1st on Reuben Foster last year, but with his recent marijuana arrest and diluted combine sample he might not be able to be counted on. If he turns it around, stays clean and becomes the top 10 talent we all saw in him then SF gets back to having two stud MLBs like they had in Willis and Bowman.

I'm not going to go with Vea...we have too many people there already. Where are we putting him? Are we replacing MItchell, because I Thought that he was really pretty good this year and he's still under contract. Don't see any reason to replace him. Buckner is locked in.

But the other three, along with Ward, all make sense and would be toward the top of my board So Smith, Key, Jackson, Ward, and if you want to throw in someone like McGlinchey to round out the top 5, he could make sense as a guy who can spend a couple of years at guard before sliding to tackle once Staley retires in 2 years. I'm not ready to move all in on Davenport yet to pick him this high, though I wouldn't be surprised.

In the end, I took Key. I really like the depth of this cornerback class in the second / third rounds, McGlinchey isn't a necessary pick - you can sign a guy or attempt to draft another guard later down the line and not worry about Staley's replacement until a future year. So it comes down Roquan v Key for me in this scenario. I went with Key. Roquan is the cleaner prospect by far, but Key has some top end skill and talent at one of the most important positions for me. Smith is likely a WILL for us, and as silly as it is to say, we will have Malcolm Smith back there next year; what we really need is a SAM, and that is most certainly not what Smith is going to be good at as he struggles shedding blocks. He needs to have freedom to be his most effective.

Orlando Brown.

? Are you playing him at guard, or are you just a fan of him as a prospect? Personally, I've never viewed him as a guard, could be an interesting pick...I personally dislike big 12 offensive linemen though.

Yea Vea might be a little out there but I think we need to find that dominant guy to pair with Buckner and take some pressure off him in the interior. Mitchell is good but he's in his 30's and not a consistent dominant force where teams ever have to gameplan around him, never commands a double team and cant stunt. DJ Jones had flashes but compared to our other rookies was disappointing still if our staff really likes him he could be the 1 tech of the future. Vea is a blue chipper to me, and thats my #1 requirement of our top 10 pick. I like the other names about just as much to be honest, I just really think highly of Vea the more I watch.

I'm not feeling an OT or any lineman really unless we trade out of the top 10. It's still early though and the combine/allstar games are going to have an impact for me.

Some more names to consider when the poll options get thin:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2018-nfl-draft-prospect-rankings-kolton-miller-has-a-well-rounded-franchise-left-tackle-skill-set/amp/

Maurice Hurst, DT, Michigan

Hurst is the type of defensive tackle who earns the mega extensions in today's NFL. Low center of gravity, and explosive off the snap with keen awareness. I remember when Aaron Donald went into the pre-draft process as a consensus second- or third-rounder. He ultimately went No. 13 overall, and he's been the most dominant interior defensive linemen in football ever since

Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, OLB, Oklahoma

In the Big 12 title game, Okoronkwo was stymied on more pass-rush attempts by TCU left tackle Joseph Noteboom -- who'll be a draft riser -- than I expected. However, the electric edge-bender made his presence felt as per usual with a handful of hurries on Kenny Hill

Derrius Guice, RB, LSU

Guice isn't Barkley, but it's close. He runs with insane suddenness and end-of-run power. His vision is outstanding too. I'm pumped for LSU's bowl game against Notre Dame on January 1. Will be a good test for Guice and the Tigers offensive line

Mason Rudolph, QB, Oklahoma State

Rudolph will see the fast Virginia Tech defense in the Camping World Bowl on December 28. If his shoulder injury was lingering down the stretch in the regular season, it should be close to 100 percent with all the time off. With a big bowl game and Senior Bowl, Rudolph can cement his stock

Kolton Miller, OT, UCLA

Miller is a large, physically gifted offensive tackle who's been one of the bright spots on UCLA's line for the past few season. He's matured into a quality pass-protector who wins with length and footwork, which NFL teams will love

James Washington, WR, Oklahoma State

All Washington has done at Oklahoma State is produce at a high level. Sure, the scheme has helped. But the most brilliant offensive mind couldn't simply scheme an average of 64 receptions, 1,296 yards, and nearly 11 touchdowns over a three-year span. Washington is the wideout who'll immediately inject a big-play element to the attack of whichever team drafts him

Bryce Love, RB, Stanford

Love definitely proved his grit to those who didn't think he was one tough SOB before the Pac-12 title game. His patience, stop-and-start ability and long speed will make him a blast as a feature back in the NFL. Hopefully his ankle is fully healed by the combine

Chukwuma Okorafor, OT, Western Michigan

Okorafor is an offensive line coach's dream. He's enormous, with long arms, quick feet, and he consistently played with a balanced foundation.

Anthony Miller, WR, Memphis

Miller has been a mainstay in the "honorable mention" section all season. And although he's a small wideout, he plays big with his outstanding ball skills. Receivers who flourish after the catch and can win in contested-catch situations are typically successful in the NFL, regardless of size. Miller sinks a bit amid speculation that he's dealing with an injury. He plays with a shoulder brace

T.J. Edwards, LB, Wisconsin

Edwards isn't flashy, he just makes an impact at all levels of the field every game. On the season, he has 75 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, two sacks, four interceptions, and seven pass breakups. Many 3-4 teams will be enamored with the idea of him in the middle of their defense

Ronald Jones II, RB, USC

Right now, Jones seems to be the premier "value" pick at the running back position, particularly for a team wanting to invest an "early" pick on the backfield spot. He has serious between-the-tackles toughness, and his home-run hitting power is close to Bryce Love

Isaiah Oliver, CB, Colorado

Oliver has No. 1 cornerback physical traits, especially his ability to run and change direction. After breaking up 13 passes in his first two seasons with the Buffaloes, he knocked away 12 passes this year

Marcell Ateman, WR, Oklahoma State

Ateman has an overall grade remisicent of Brandon Marshall. He's big and plays up to his size with unmatched dominance at the catch point among college receivers. He demonstrated underrated yards-after-the-catch skills on a variety of screens in Oklahoma State's offense too
