Somebody make a thread about how unstoppable the Patriots are at home in the playoffs, too. Let the overconfidence flow through you. But every era has their dynasty is seems. A lot of people dismiss the 60's Celtics dynasty out of hand.

Have to agree, it is not even close. The Packers and Steelers existed for so many years before NE came on the scene, it isn't even comparable. NE is the clear goat along with BB and Brady and in my 65 years of following pro football, I've seen them all since the 60's.

But, but, but ChazStandard says anything that happened in the league before the SB era doesn't count. What do you think this is, baseball?

What's next, the 60's Packers or 70's Steelers? The Canadians? The Oilers with Gretzky? The Reds or Yankees? Just because it happened in the past doesn't mean it didn't matter or was insignificant. TecmoSuperJoe
Steelers have actually been pretty good since the start of the 70s. In that span they haven't really had a period where they were absolutely dreadful for a prolonged period of time. Usually fielding a playoff team every couple of seasons at worst.
