When my division rivals haven't drafted kickers, and I can remove some of the better ones, at the end of the season if comes down to a difference of having a guy finish 35-of-40 or 36-of-40, that one field goal could be the difference between a W or a L for a game, and playoff implications. Seems like you outsmarted yourself, not like you would've drafted some stud to stash on the PS this late but this strategy really won't amount to anything. The boost could be huge or next to nothing. But him at OC would impact Staff more than anyone else on the offense, correct?
