Quin just turned 33. Obviously his best years are behind him, but he was really good in Detroit. Could be a possible veteran addition.

Yea, not as good against the pass this past year, but he's still a savy vet. Not worth any type of big contract, but could be a bargain addition if we don't attract a bigger fish at the position.

wouldn't be mad if we moved a 5th for duke johnson

Another Brown on the Packers. Urrrrgh....not sure how to feel about that one.

From the Browns we already got scout Patrick Moore who oversees the SEC region meaning he will be very influential in our draft,  coaches Mike Pettine, Shawn Mennenga and Ryan Downard, players DeShone Kizer, Danny Vitale, Malcolm Johnson,  Brady Sheldon and Ibraheim Campbell. They have all been tainted by that awful organisation.

Meanwhile the Browns is filling up with ex Packers front office guys such as John Dorsey, Elliott Wolf, Alonzo Highsmith, coaches such as James Campen, Jeff Blasko, Joe Whitt Jr, and players such as JC Tretter, Brian Price, Demarius Randall, Devante Mays, Lenzy Pipkins and Jermaine Whitehead.

Its just beginning to get too much of the bad smell from the Browns wipe stains slowly emanating through the Packers organisation. We need to be very careful not to bring in too much of the losing mentality here with us.

Its clear that the Browns are doing the opposite bringing in as many people who've been consistently in and around high level of success with the core of the front office and taking two of our best position coaches.

I wonder which one of us is one the upward swing?

I keep seeing people speculate about acquiring Duke Johnson. Why would the Browns trade him? Yeah, they have Chubb and Hunt, but neither of those guys is really a pass-game specialist like Johnson, and he seems to spend most of his time split out wide as a receiver, doesn't he?

Dorsey said he didn't see him as expendable, yet.  It left open the possibility of him being traded.

Nagler:

I remember talking to someone with Cleveland after they traded Gordon to New England, and he said the Pats easily made the best offer. Now we hear the Pats made the strongest push to acquire OBJ last year. Can one of the other 31 teams at least try to make things interesting?

Dom Capers is back in Jacksonville, 20 years after his last stint there. The team announced the addition of the veteran defensive coach as a senior defensive assistant. He was out of football last year after a nine-year stint as the Packers coordinator.

Capers was the coordinator under initial Jaguars head coach Tom Coughlin in 1999-2000

Former Bills’ tight end Charles Clay is signing a one-year deal worth up to $3.25 million that includes a $350,000 signing bonus with the Arizona Cardinals, per source.

Just sayin.....

Couple solid moves by AZ. Picked up Alford after ATL let him go and now Clay at a reasonable value.
