Spartacus
I honestly wouldn't mind being able to use your challenges on pass interference since they can be such big plays but no thank you to challenging for pass interference.

Reaper
58 minutes ago, Leader said: Per Saints coach Sean Payton, competition committee has agreed to a proposal that would allow coaches challenge on plays where offensive or defensive pass interference is not called. If it passes, that would address non-calls similar to the one in the Saints-Rams NFC Champ. Horrible Idea missed calls happen they are a part of the game. If they look at anything it should be to confirm/reverse a call they made not to make up for one they didnt.

If I’m a coach, I’m throwing that flag on any big pass play in the last 5 minutes of the game and hoping the ref is in the right mood that whatever handfighting is going on will rub him the wrong way. Spray and pray.

Leader
NFL . Com: There will be no changes to the onside kick this season despite the best efforts of the Denver Broncos and the competition committee. NFL owners rejected a proposal, proposed by Denver, "to provide an alternative onside kick that would allow a team who is trailing in the game an opportunity to maintain possession of the ball after scoring," NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported Tuesday from the Annual League Meeting in Phoenix. The alternative would have afforded teams the opportunity, a maximum of once per game during the fourth quarter only, to convert a fourth-and-15 from its own 35-yard line in lieu of attempting an onside kick. However, these playing rules were adopted: 1. By Competition Committee; Makes permanent the kickoff rule changes that were implemented during the 2018 season. 2. By Competition Committee; Expands protection to a defenseless player. 3. By Competition Committee; Changes the enforcement of double fouls when there is a change of possession. 4. By Competition Committee; Simplifies the application of scrimmage kick rules for missed field goals. 5. By Competition Committee; Allows teams to elect to enforce on the succeeding try or on the succeeding free kick an opponent's personal or unsportsmanlike conduct foul committed during a touchdown. With this new rule are people going to hold off on wasting that second review way more often on little things early... Leader
Rotoworld: According to Calvin Watkins of The Athletic, franchise-tagged DE DeMarcus Lawrence is seeking $22.5 million annually in contract talks with Dallas. The Cowboys have upped their offer to $20 million a year but apparently that's not going to cut it. If his asking price is met, Lawrence would become the second-highest-paid edge rusher in football behind Khalil Mack. Speaking on his podcast The Boomin Experience, Antonio Brown revealed the Patriots had interest before he was traded to the Raiders. The Steelers were reportedly initially reluctant to deal Brown within the division or to New England, but they apparently relented on the latter. Brown made the disclosure via shared audio of his conversations with agent Drew Rosenhaus. In the talks, Rosenhaus expressed confidence the Pats would be open to a new deal. ESPN Bengals reporter Katherine Terrell doesn't see Andy Dalton as an extension candidate this offseason. Terrell believes the team would prefer to "wait and see" how Dalton adjusts to Zac Taylor's new offense before making a long-term commitment.
