Ehh, just browsing his wiki page, he was denied admission to Florida State for academics and got expelled from Florida International. An article says his mom kicked him out of the house at 17 over altercations with his stepfather. Looks like he’s been having problems for a long time now. Fame, money, and power can be hugely detrimental to people’s mental health. On top of that, I think there can be a fair bit of shock for people who grow up in poverty or chaos to suddenly have the means to all sorts of things when they grew up desperate for means. The things he’s accused of are pretty monstrous and this is in no way a defense or an excuse, it just seems like contexts like that give rise to monstrous behavior fairly often.
