That's exactly what these people are doing?

Generally within those first 25 there will be another tier at the top.

Maybe start paying attention when people say there's only 25 genuine first round picks.

It doesn't matter so much if the #30 pick is considered first or second round. If, however you view it as there being a significant talent drop after pick 25, depending on where the next tier ends you can move up or down accordingly.

Seattle just signed previous Packer and recently fired Cleveland Brown's Elliot Wolf and Alonzo Highsmith to help guide the Seahawks in their drafting department.  Interesting move to sign both of them to their staff.

Interesting, I was wondering where these 2 were going to end up.

The NFLPA Board of Player Representatives voted to send the proposed collective bargaining agreement to the membership for a vote.

Tom Pelissero -   The NFLPA board of representatives voted to send the proposed CBA to the full membership, meaning now only a simple majority of the nearly 2,000 players is needed to ratify. The thinking has been that vote is a virtual certainty. On the 1-yard line towards 10 years of labor peace

Don't see anyway it doesn't pass now. The $100000 guaranteed raise for all the lower level players is going to generate a large majority of the bottom roster guys voting for this. The JJ Watt's of the world who have money and can afford to fight over what they want are outnumbered now.

At 48.5% the players in the NFL will makeup the largest percentage of revenue of all the pro sports. That with the dropping of the salary ceiling for that 17th game, it really isn't a bad deal for the players. I don't really want the 17th game but whatever, at least it isn't 18 like the 2010 labor agreement wanted.

Was not unanimously passed by owners, and was not unanimously passed by players, usually the sign of a good deal.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 30% rule or rule of 30 or whatever goes away if a new CBA is signed shortly right?

Football Perspective -   Last year, teams won just over 50% of their games when throwing for 300+ yards.
Historically, teams win... just over 50% of their games when throwing for 300+ yards.

So....some things have remained constant in this "age of the passing game."

Rotoworld -  Cowboys owner Jerry Jones hopes to re-sign impending free agent DE Robert Quinn.

"He’s the real deal," Jones said. "He really helped us last year. So I’m hopeful that we can do something to keep him." ESPN Dallas' Todd Archer has previously labeled the Cowboys unlikely to re-sign the ex-Dolphin and Ram. Quinn was excellent as a situational pass rusher in 2019, ringing up 11.5 sacks on a modest 647 snaps. He turns 30 in May.

Rotoworld -  ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports the "strong sense" at the Combine is that the Bears will add a veteran to "push" Mitchell Trubisky.

That sentiment has been pervasive all offseason. It won't be difficult to do in one of the deepest quarterback markets of all time. Teddy Bridgewater and Marcus Mariota might be the two most realistic targets, while Andy Dalton is available via trade. Further down the board is Case Keenum. Ryan Tannehill and Jameis Winston are likely to land starting jobs, making them longer shots.
