Kyle Orton. Last name Orton, first name Kyle. The Broncos started 6-0. They won every single game that the defense held the offense under 20 points. Their losses in Josh's only full year in Denver: 30 points given up to Ravens. 28 to Steelers 27 to Redskins 32 to Chargers 28 to Colts 20 to Raiders 30 to Eagles 44 to Chiefs An average of 29.9 points allowed per loss is not going to get it done. Say he failed on defense all you want and it's true, but he did not fail offensively. In 2008 he got 7.2 YPA, 21 touchdowns and 11 interceptions out of Cassell. Cassell's career YPA outside of New England? 5.81 So McDaniels got 1.5 yards more per attempt out of Cassell. It's genuinely difficult to emphasize how much McDaniels destroyed that team from a locker room perspective. McDaniels issues don't have anything to do with him as an X's and O's guy. packfanfb
Yikes. I'm all for looking at progressive ways to improve diversity in the NFL coaching ranks, but this isn't it. Can't imagine this will pass.
MacReady
Everyone who does fantasy football, take a late round flyer on Ty Montgomery. He just signed with the Saints. If he stays healthy (which is the biggest if), NO or NE have always been the two spot I thought he would thrive in. Could be a serious headache for teams.

Also for the saints too if they have him do kick off returns.

I'll be honest, that would majorly sour me on the NFL Draft and probably the league as a whole. That's blatant and unabashed racial discrimination.

Plus the draft is mainly a crap shoot... it’s not like they are guaranteeing draft success with this move for teams. Plus this will likely occur in later rounds.
