Preseason and small sample size but Cousins and the Vikings offense did not look impressive at all vs Jacksonville today

Yea he was solid last week so who the hell knows... Don't kid yourself, the Minny offense will be solid based on their skilled players. They may struggle though against teams with formidable pass rushes bc their OL has holes. Otherwise, that Diggs/Theilen/Cook combo will be a top 10 unit IMO.

WTF ? How does this make sense for the Seahawks ?

"According to Ben Volin of the Boston Globe, the Seahawks offered the Colts a second-round pick for Jacoby Brissett.

Obviously the Colts didn't feel that was enough to move him. The offense struggled with Brissett under center last year, though clearly Indianapolis still views him as an important insurance policy for Andrew Luck"

Seahawks realized that their defense was what got them their Super Bowl win and they're trying to rebuild that defense by trading for a serviceable starter and getting a mega deal for their QB, who can't win for them.

Without a boost in draft capital, the Seahawks are not getting out of the cellar of that division for the next five years.  They have nothing promising whatsoever.

I don't remember the last time I've seen a team lose so much talent in so little time, so they're trying to rebuild.

Of course, everything I just said above was a joke.  That's not what they're doing.  They put next to no value whatsoever on draft picks, so they keep trading them because Schneider is an idiot and up until one year ago, tots and those like him kept saying we should have hired him and fired Thompson because nobody seems to get how bad he is.

He is really, really, really, really bad.

IMO, if you're going to flag Bouye there, you have to flag pretty much every tackle in the entire game. He wasnt using his head to initiate contact, he's defending himself and I've yet to see a form tackle in the NFL where you dont make contact with some part of your head.

It's not making contact with the helmet that's a penalty it's dropping the head, you can drill a guy with your helmet as long at it's the facemask you're hitting him with and it's not helmet to helmet.

This call deserves to go against Minnesota but it's still an awful form tackle and the reason he gets trucked.

A few people are saying this isnt true. Saw La Canfora for one.

I was arguing against Schneider for awhile now when everyone wanted him to replace TT.

He's sucked bad since they got good.

They had the biggest advantage you can have in a capped NFL for a handful of years there. Wilson was grading top shelf and getting paid bottom shelf!!!!

Yep. Relatively speaking it's not hard to get good. It's really, really hard to stay good.

Schneider sure hasn't.

That's what happens when you draft late in the first and start picking for need to feel the voids you couldn't fill sooner (which are usually position your team is worse at evaluating/developing).

The Colts had a horrible OL and only two targets and Frank Gore on offense helping him. I honestly think even Rodgers would of struggled, it takes a team, not a single player.

Though that honestly doesn't make sense to me, unless they're thinking Wilson might be gone or missing. Though if they wanted to trade Russel, that might get great trade value. But a 2nd just to develop a back-up for two years? Either way they're planning at minimum a 3rd round comp pick, if not a future trade of one of the QBs.

ESPN's breakout players for the NFC North:

Green Bay - Kenny Clark
The 2016 first-round pick went the first 26 games of his NFL career without a sack. Then something clicked, and he posted 4.5 sacks in his next five games. The Packers believe the athletic defensive tackle will pick up where he left off last season. The addition of Muhammad Wilkerson to the D-line along with the productive Mike Daniels and new defensive coordinator Mike Pettine's creative scheme should also free up Clark to make more big plays.

Minnesota - Brandon Zylstra
The Vikings liked the former CFL standout so much that they signed him to a futures deal in early January. Among a deep crop of receivers battling for spots not belonging to Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs and Laquon Treadwell, Zylstra sticks out as a player whose physical tools and route precision could earn him an important role. The Minnesota native led the CFL with 100 catches for 1,687 yards and eight touchdowns in 2017 and appears to be a lock for the 53-man roster.

Detroit - Kenny Dolladay
The second-year pro is healthy after a rookie year that saw him miss a handful of games with a hamstring injury. He's working with the ones and offers the Lions a second deep threat with exceptional leaping ability, along with veteran Marvin Jones. With Eric Ebron off in Indianapolis, Golladay's target share should open up, and he has the skill and the catch radius to become a dynamic performer. A 700- to 750-yard season is not unrealistic for Golladay, which would be a good year in an offense that had two 1,000-yard receivers in 2017.

Chicago - Anthony Miller
The Bears have several new wide receivers, including free agents Allen Robinson and Taylor Gabriel. But second-round pick Miller, in the slot, has shown in camp he could make an impact early and often with excellent hands and crisp routes.
