only 133 guaranteed. fake years mean it is not really a long term deal

So what do you think Jackson should get on a contract?

You said he wasn't offered a long term contract...except he was.

You said Watson got $500 guaranteed...except it wasn't half of that.

What was the thread that NoFly whatever was on talking about the Vikes again?

Man, watching that thing blow up was interesting.  At home.

At least now I know what the "other side" of a loss like that looks like.

Seems like it was the MIN GDT after GB stomped them.

Lol. He just said to every team and teammate, “I care more about myself than my team.”

He just got himself a ticket out of Baltimore and a ticket out of a third contract.

He’s not in the league four years from now.

These are the playoffs, and he’s fit enough to play. He’s lost the locker, and that’s a career death penalty.

Doesn't exactly sound like the locker room has an issue with Lamar

Ravens teammates stump for Lamar Jackson to get deal

And...wasn't there someone on here that was talking about how the McCaffrey trade wouldn't really help the 49ers?

Tons of people here are way too tied to draft picks. Niners add a rb, chiefs add wr, Vikings add a TE all while having at least one elite pass catchers around them already. McCaffrey makes Jones look rather pedestrian. Gute needed to do this the last 5 years.

QB Cap Percentages:
Mahomes - 17%
Prescott - 9%
Allen - 7%
Brady - 5%
Lawrence - 3%
Jones - 3%
Hurts - .7%

A lot of people here want Mahomes to win just so I'll shut up about this.

You make a very strong argument that I agree with. But you can only get around that if you're a good drafting team. KC has drafted well, they lock up their Own and never have to spend big money on outside FA. Their receiver's and RBs are mostly on rookie deals making peanuts. It doesn't work for us because we stunk at drafting.

At their best, McCaffrey is better than Jones but I don’t think the delta in talent is that huge. If you factor in draft position, contracts and availability, 33 starts to look pretty good. Either player could get a serious injury and fall off a cliff but I still don’t think 9ers get to the top this year with him and then they have to continue to pay him. Not paying a QB any real money helps with the cap, though.
