It's not priced for me Joe's anyways, so if you're willing to dish for a ticket might as well get an international trip in anyways. It's not all that anyway.....IMO at least. I've had multiple SB in my hometown and while there's a certain excitement to the event it's almost best to avoid it all. None of the teams playing were of great interest to me (so I didnt have that going for me....) and it's basically a HUGE clog on all the systems of the city. The bars, restaurants, beaches etc are PACKED with folks. I've survived each of the nicely by staying out of the confusion and had house parties game day.

Mazrimiv
This Bears team should actually be an interesting watch for Hard Knocks.
Mazrimiv
I think Johnson gave a reasonable answer as to why he stayed in DET rather than pursue a HC gig. I tend to think he's right about waiting for the "perfect" opportunity rather than jumping at the first offer. He'll probably be HC in Chicago a year from now. Lions' Ben Johnson reveals why he didn't pursue head coaching jobs this offseason

Lions' Ben Johnson reveals why he didn't pursue head coaching jobs this offseason I agree with the philosophy. He’s got a good thing going and even if the Lions plateau or falter a bit, he’ll still be looked at as a guy who turned it all around. Should be a top candidate next year. Rarely do you inherit as talented a team as LaFluer did. Most new coaches have a long list of problems to fix in year one but there are definitely some more desirable teams than others. This year was a pretty rough selection after the top spots were spoken for and yes, Chicago will likely be looking for an offensive minded HC next year. Of course, I hope it all falls apart for him if he continues in the NFCN.

I’m hoping for just enough wins early to get everyone excited and get them out of top 10 draft position, then catastrophic collapse.
Mazrimiv
Thought this was interesting. Makes sense to want another legit coverage guy on the field if possible. Placekickers may no longer be NFL kickoff specialists

Why put a kicker out there when you have somebody who can actually tackle. Dude has to kick it 35 yards. Also, the fact this person will likely not be accurate gives the return team problems. My vote is Keisean Nixon.

My vote is Keisean Nixon. This is more Toub than Reid. I think you definitely want a guy to be accurate. Remember it would not just give the return team problems if you never knew where the hell your guy was going to kick it. I’d vote for some Aussie rules punter. Those guys can kick and wrestle crocodiles.

Old Guy
I understand why they wouldn't do this but why doesn't the team whose player was tampered with get the draft pick? Sources - Falcons, Eagles tampering rulings likely this week - ESPN
Old Guy
Looks like the Chiefs are leading the league again in off season arrests. I'm noticing a trend which is disturbing. Seems like every off season they have multiple players or coaches (Reid's son a year or two ago) arrested. Coincidence? Chiefs' Isaiah Buggs arrested, released in animal cruelty case - ESPN
